Mafa alleged that the delays were being caused because of the fact that some high-ranking ANC members, such as Cyril Ramaphosa, Mathews Phosa and Tito Mboweni were shareholders or owners of some of the businesses on the farms. So the ANC Big shots owns mines and they keep on blaming Apartheid? they want to eat alone? Shame Ramaphosa, I trusted you so much

@SinudeityYes, we have to, we have to as black people, make a blanket claim of the whole of south africa because this land was taken from our forefathers by your forefathers at gun point, i remember my grandmother telling me that her parents were forced to sell their cattle to whites at unreasonable prices because the was uparrently drought and there after they where forcefully relocated to a far away land, sis

But it's YT's fault, along with apartheid????
There's none so blind as those who want to be.
"A better life for all" wasn' that the ANC slogan?
Blacks are being royally screwed by their own so-called leaders who are openly gorging at the troughs while they (ordinary people) just look on!
Unbelievable stupidity!!

This is the problem with land grabZimbabwe is turning to South Africa and Angola for help in plugging a $400-million hole in its budget
The country's economy is recovering under a coalition government formed in 2009 by President Robert Mugabe and his rival, Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai, but is still suffering the hangover of a decade-long recession widely blamed on Mugabe policies such as the seizure of white-owned farms.

It is digusting to learn that even Richard Brandson of Virgin managed to buy land in limpopo the size of 2 Farm in around 2006 BUT land claim commision cannot process land claim to black people.Does these mean money TALKS, or what
2nd Richard Brandson Bought a land including homeland for people near the boarder of Krugernational park, of which according to source soon those villagers have to be removed from the land they have been living in for over 400 years( as it is now private land)
To me seems LAND CLAIM Comminsion is taking land from white instead of giving back to black they sell baack to white people . so these process will take longer while they make more money inbetween

One of our kinglets recons that two thirds of SA belongs to him and he wants to declare independence. Do we just accept his ridiculous claims and give the daft sod the land?

All those pepole who think that the PAC never contributed to the struggle for the return of the land to the rightful owners, must think again. The agenda that the ANC had in CODESA was a selfish one and as a result the ticking timebomb is about to explode. The peoplewill rise against those who selfishly want things for themselves at the expence of the poor and when it hapens, there will be no negotiations but a bloodbath that will last untill the land returns to the rightfull owners.
For as long as there is landlessness the PAC will exist and the people are awakening from thier deep sleep. You can fool some people some times but you can never fool everybody all the time.Soon the chickens will come home to roost and lo! the rewards will be bitter. We will begin to see the ruling class for who they really are.
Apartheid was a system within a system of colonialism and so APARTHEID would seize to exist ones colonisation was distroyed in its entiety.Instead APARTHEID has been given a new face through the so called REFORMATION program that seek to perpecuate slavery and make us co-managers of our own suffering.Be warned, and take coution for this land is still bleeding.

@_SinudeityI have grown up in limpopo village called Ge-Droogte (GPS : latitude :-24.496686 Longitude :29.356635 )
My family is a vicitim forcefull removal during those ,that village does not have a water (only salty water, and sand ,rocks) you will never make it with any form agriculture including traditional agriculture system.
IF the land that were removed from is unused,I think it will be best to claim it back and move there. It is been terible year living in dry land call ge-droogte.

Limpopoist - My problem is, that there are so many stories coming up of people claiming land. Someone I know had a land claim against them. Some of the workers stayed on a portion of a piece of land. But for 5 years, almost a hundred people moved to the piece of land. When he sold the piece of land, he had to organise a new piece of land for all of them. But then claimed that they have been living there for 100's of years.
Anyways, we got some google archive satellite footage. And from the historical data, you can clearly see that NOBODY lived there 10 years ago.
Meanwhile, the land claims cases just keep piling up. And in my opinion, quite a few cases are just of people being opportunistic.

Lest we not forget about commercial farms that were successfully claimed and given back to the communities. Production on those farms has since collapsed with little or no economic activity taking place on them. What most people want here is not the land itself but the share of the financial gains for which they do not want to work. I get generally sick of people who just want money for which they never did anything. No wonder the 419 scampions are having a field day. No wonder the pyramid schemers are always hitting pay dirt. In any case, go on, go and help yourself. As for me, just pass me that can of pilsner and let my elbow exercise.Report Abuse

=================================
3rd Richard Brandson (at the request of Nelson M) rescued a failed gym empire and gave jobs to thousands of black people around the country who would have otherwize been car guards. For most of those black youth it was a stepping stone job to better things, having gained some work experience.
Chase Sir Richard away and you will have a lot of angry people after your sorry a$$.

Eish! Why are the Government so slow in dealing with land issues? - Give all the land to the ill-informed, uneducated, unskilled masses! Then after they have used, abused, f@cked up everything the previous owners and or occupants have established or build on said land - they will join the rest of Africa patiently waining on hand-outs, grants, loans and other things for Mahala! - and whilst they wait they will vigorously reproduce - as proudly boasted by our Prez when he once again blamed everything going wrong because of incompetence, lack of skills and know-how etc - on Apartheid!Report Abuse

People should apply their minds before writing stuff on this blog. Yes African people did not occupy every square inch of this country but had territories. Within these territories they farmed and kept their livestock. People like Sinudeity should not assume that every one who is commenting on this blog is stupid enough to fall prey to their distorted interpretation of our history. After these claims are researched and subsequently declared valid or otherwise.Report Abuse

Wait till the true middle class, Asian, Coloured, Malay, White and black stand together to put a stop to all this B$ in this country.Unfortunately they will only come to the forefront once they realize there livelihood is been demolised, probably after a massacre of a substantial amount of people.Everyone should plant, even if it is just a few veggies. Make a plan, you dont need land to plant, use potplants, containers what ever. Plant nw cause there will be a collapse. Those that are waiting for land before they can plant, will pass away hungry.

It is unfortunate that Sowetan's article does not tell us where is the royal kraal of this tribe and who are thier chief. But their claim can't be valid at all. Claiming land from Ga-Dikgale to Phalaborwa means that they are claim the Mmamabolo land around turfloop, Modjadji's kloof of Balobedu and Phalaborwa of Ba-Phalaborwa ba kgosi Malatji.@SHEMAN
There real Bakgakga are in Thabina near Lenyenye in Tsaneen. They are descendents of Bakgakga Ba-GaMphahlela, who happens to be Baroka Ba-GaPHASHA. Baroka Ba-Phasha are also decendents of Ba-Kwena Ba-Mongatane Mashabela. Mashabela, Phasha and Mphahlela are brothers that split and settled in the present Sekhukhune before the great great father of Sekhukhune the first came to settle in this area.
