THE fixed-line operator, Telkom SA, said yesterday, it would appeal the R449-million regulatory fine imposed, for using its dominant market position to stifle potential competitors.
The Competition Commission this month, slapped Telkom, with the lighter-than-expected fineover a long-standing complaint that it blocked competition, from other network service providers.
Telkom said in a statement, that it had filed notice to appeal the ruling since it had 40 days to file the appeal.
