GOVERNMENT spokesman Jimmy Manyi's contract not being renewed after he served his full three years was welcomed yesterday by the DA and trade union Solidarity.

DA spokesman Mmusi Maimane said : "It is about time that Mr Manyi was removed from office. He has consistently showcased behaviour unbecoming of government's chief communicator."

Dirk Hermann of Solidarity said Manyi's ideas about race and affirmative action had "infiltrated government" and become its policy. The National Press Club also welcomed Manyi's departure.

However, Media Development and Diversity Agency CEO Lumko Mtimde thanked Manyi for "allowing the agency to tap into his vast knowledge" .

Jimmy, you should read the bible, Pharaoh tried it, Nebuchadnezzar (although he repented), Alexander the great, Herod, Nero, Napoleon, Hitler and the list goes on. If you being a man think of yourself as a 'god' then you are in big trouble. There is only one God, no one beside Him, neither there was any before Him nor will be after Him. Isaiah 44:6-8, 45:5-6, 47:8-15.

The head line is misleading, it is not Manyi's reaction but other parties rections to Manyi loss. @ Sowetan this was printed yesterday already, why bring it back?

I also mentioned it yesterday on the MEN BITE SNAKE article that sowetan journalist are lazy, all they do is copy & paste from other newspapers online.
