R4m dagga seized
The dagga was found stashed inside a new RDP house, which has not yet been allocated to its owner
FIFTY-THREE bags of dagga with an estimated street value of R4-million were confiscated from a house in Nyanga yesterday morning, Cape Town police said.
The dagga was found stashed inside a new RDP house in Boystown after police received a tip-off, Captain Frederick van Wyk said.
"No arrests were made because there were no people present when the dagga was found," he said.
The house where the dagga was discovered has not yet been allocated to its owner.
Two vehicles, which were parked outside the yard, were also confiscated.
Police were investigating the vehicles and a case of possession of dagga.
