Dagga. Image: http://leonotisleonurus.neFIFTY-THREE bags of dagga with an estimated street value of R4-million were confiscated from a house in Nyanga yesterday morning, Cape Town police said.
The dagga was found stashed inside a new RDP house in Boystown after police received a tip-off, Captain Frederick van Wyk said.
"No arrests were made because there were no people present when the dagga was found," he said.
The house where the dagga was discovered has not yet been allocated to its owner.
Two vehicles, which were parked outside the yard, were also confiscated.
Police were investigating the vehicles and a case of possession of dagga.

Looking at that picture, it looks like weed of poor quality but anyway it is weed. I still can't understand what is the big deal with weed, i mean it's a fuckin plant and all it does is grow. It is not man made yet the mankind decides wheather it should be consumed or not. If they don't want it to be consumed, then let them make them not to grow again. It's 'criminal' that marijuana is illegal! It's better than cotton, better for paper than trees (plus grows so fast you don't have to grow forests of trees over years), the oil is better than all others,, has more protein than beef!Alcohol should be illegal!!! Cannabis should NOT. Our govt is way behind... hemp is not even legal in SA...we need to catch up. There's huge legal money to be made in this product, and hundreds of thousands of jobs can be created overnight. WAKE UP SA GOVT!
