It is a safe bet that the protesters are also the worst students - struggle to pass so rather just disrupt everyone else and when you fail at the end of the year you can say you were engaged in more important matters - fighting against windmills in the mistaken belief that they are evil giants like Don Quixote. Heard of him Tikoloshe ? Didn't think so.

Is it my imagination or has strike season started a bit later than normal this year?

Please don't tell me that this lot are also destroying everything in sight because they want washing machines.

We have been informed that the issues surrounding the Pietermaritzburg Campus student have been resolved. The campus is expected to be back to normal from tomorrow.

...The problem is that Mzimande is going around offering everyone everything for free and students then believe him.

There is also a lot of dissatisfaction at UKZN amongst academics around the way transformation is being dealt with......the ANC will not listen to common sense and the consequence is that students and academics must revert to burning things down before they get any attention from the State....not ideal but a consequence of a regime that has become detatched from reality on the ground!!!

Eish Tikoloshe, I hear what you say but rally man, this culture of violent protest and destruction of property must be stopped, There are ways to force people to listen to you other than destruction of property, which just makes things worse fo reveryone because it takes money to repair again. As a last resort, if one has a good case, you can approach a court of law for assistance .Look at how Afriforum and Solidarity go about things - no violent protests, just calm debate, and court action when really necessary - and look how succesfull they have been.

We must find another way - this way is throwing money down the toilet.

LOL, more violent protests at a university.

More opportunities for white kids to enter the private sector.
Thanks protesting students, for screwing yourselves :P
