I am also holding thumbs for Zuma for a second term, come 2014 DA will take even more votes if he is re-elected, his administration has proved they don't give a *&^% about the people.

I expected as much from this Region, nothing much that they want but political patronage. Zuma is not capable to take us forward but simple because they are driven by greedy they want him. It seems like we have another 5 yrs coming from hell.

Hmm, do you think our country will survive another term of zuma at the helm?
This country is going to hell in a handbasket under his so-called leadership.

We need people (regardless of race) who have integrity and vision - I don't see this in any of the present ANC 'leaders', nor in any of the ANC wannabees.

The country burns/disintegrates daily while zumu and his cronies line their collective pockets.

We deserve better!!

I am beginning to believe that the ANC has a different dictionary than the rest of the world, hence their vocabulary is so much confusing!!!!! "Capable hands"

If they let emotions to control their thinking capabities then they are in for a big suprise. They not looking at the truth but buying the face of the president then the whole ANC will be in the shock of their lives believe me. What is he good at? DA is by the door and they do not even need strong election campaign because lots of people are waiting for that anoucement that he will get a second term. If you have given a chance and serve give others a chance too whats up with second term?It is a beaton like in relay, run your 100 meter and give to the other one, Now he want to run all the way ? kwaaaaaaaaaa hayi stop playing. Is time that he look back and see his fault but there is no time to undo let others proof themselves and stop being greedy.

---------------------------------

Motlanthe doesn't have a backbone although he is more dignified than Zuma - neither is good for us.

The DA has potential to, and does make things happen but look at the destruction taking place in the Cape - the illiterate and uneducated morons are brilliant at destruction but no bladdy good at building, and of course any chance that they have to undermine/destroy a WORKING province is taken, rather than to learn and impliment similar strategies elsewhere.
Do 'some' think living in a destroyed country a better option as long a a black person is in charge??

Why can't we have Moletsi Mbeki stand for president ?? I'd support him in a heartbeat!!

I can agree with that 100%, something just need to be done about the incompetence and corruption, I think Mbeki is the person for that, I don't think he would utter words like,, I can't just fire, there is a procedure to follow when corrupt incompetent people are in positions they should not be in.

The problem with most of the guys that are against Zuma is that they bring the tribal issue in this thing, guys like Lungu he cannot argue a point without bringing tribal insults into it. U can't say that KZN is illiterate. Bro u need to have respect for other people. If you don't want Zuma u must attack him not the entire province, people have the choose whom they want. This is politics you have a lot to learn, if you can't argue points stay out of it. Its not that everybody in KZN wants him.

........I think the ANC must put an job advert in the Sunday Times for the position of PRESIDENT of the Party because clearly there are no other members of the NEC capable of filling the shoes of JZ.

....Mothlante's sheer lack of leadership acumen has created a crisis in the Party....ever since he held the position of SG from 2002, Deputy President and then President our ANC has been in rapid reverse.

If there was a natural successor to JZ I'm sure that he would quite happily come back to our Kingdom of KZN, but it would be a disaster for all of us including all the JZ haters to hand the Party to Malema, Madikizela and Mothlante and/or Sexwallie.....

Please guys, you need to understand this.....if Mothlante looses his challenge against JZ, that's the end of his Deputy President position and it gives us the option of appointing Ramaphosa to this position and changing the face of the NEC which is so divided presently that it is unable to govern the State effectively.

If Ramaphosa does not accept the position, that's the end of the ANC and the alliance as we know it; which is also not a bad thing for Mzansi....

....Ok so there you go...for the bloggers on Big Brother here's your chance to put your CV's forward for the position as it's up for grabs...s.cold/Dandan/TJ Winner let's keep the trophy in KZN so you are recommended for the position!!!! HiHiHi

Well I suppose every province and region has a right to decide whom they support however wrong that decision is.

Zuma has been a disaster, if the ANC thinks they deserve such poor and absent leadership then that is their indaba. I would like to see who will stand in queues to vote for the utterly useless Zuma come election time. A part of me hopes Zuma wins so that they feel the public backlash that will follow.

The ANC will rule until it decides to give Zuma a second term, not until Jesus comes. Contary to a commonly held view within the party, the ANC does not have a devine right to lead SA the sooner they realise that the better for everyone in the absence of sanity prevailing voters will have to drive that point home.

It is OK let Msholozi get a second term so that the ANC can be more embarrased with its comedy of errors in governing the party and the country.

The current ANC leadership's decision making skills is out of depth and neither the sharpest for a sophisticated country and economy - in terms of challenges facing the country and obtaining sustainable solutions thereof.

Perhaps once the ANC loses power by its voters losing faith in it, it will get its house in order and get the best of their lot to lead the ANC and country.

As for now the ANC is too complacent towards its electorate and has just made the country a laughing stock all over the world - and to the benefit of the cynics and wh!tes who didn't want see a b!ack man prosper, since during Madiba's leadership the world thought SA was the only hope compared to most Africa's failed states.

How is it that the Ethekwini ANC Region can pronounce on leadership when the ANC National Executive Committee has said that they should wait until October? And Gwede Mantashe and Jacob Zuma are keeping quiet about this. Ace Magashule is allowed to pronounce on leadership issues before October. Because Ethekwini and Ace Magashule support Jacob Zuma's re-election, they are not wrapped over the knuckles because that is exactly what Mantashe and Zuma want. How can you run a political organisation like the ANC the way Zuma and Mantashe are doing? I have never seen such hypocrisy and double standards in the entire history of the ANC. Zuma and Mantashe are damaging the image of the ANC and also subverting internal democratic processes of the ANC.

Ace Magashule (Freistata) and David Mabuza (Mpumalanga) have much to answer for and actually need Jacob Zuma as insurance. They know they will be exposed if Jacob Zuma is not re-elected.
