I can't understand some of the comments here. Either people haven't been following what is happening or they are just not paying attention.

When Tando married Mandla, he had nothing. She was actually supporting him. Then he became abusive and started sleeping around so she divorced him. They were married in community of property so everything that came into the marriage was to be divided equally. Mandla then tried to hide his money by putting it into a trust fund for the child that isn't even his. How can Tando now be accused of being a 'gold digger' and putting stuff in that is not relevant. If the kid isn't his then it is relevant because the kid has money that belongs to her

People do not seem to understand that in trying to revenge and take someone down, you also take yourself down. Holding onto anger makes you a prisoner of animosity and deprives you of joy. There is no need to let the world know what is happening and she looks like an extremely bitter woman. If the husband has disrespected himself, he has done it on his own accord and there is no need for her to keep shoving.

The kid's trust fund can't be touched by the lawyers. He has put the majority of the money into the trust fund and that is why she is questioning why.

I fully support her. It is about time that SA women took a stand for what is rightfully theirs instead of being told to just shut up and do what the man wants. This is about more than just the money, it is about the morals and the way women are expected to just be grateful for any crumbs they are given.

With the rate at which the population numbers are increasing in Africa.I feel that it is about time African governments impose population conrtrol laws e.g

1: 1 man ,1 wife (polygamy should be outlawed)

2: 1 couple ,maximum of 2 children

3: New couples who have been previously married to other partners and have had more than one child in their previous relationships will not be allowed to reproduce with their new spouse. They will however be allowed to adopt.

4: Single Men and women will be given fnancial rewards if they submit to voluntary sterilization.

5 Couples who voluntarily choose to have 1 child will be given financial rewards

Any African who goes agaisnt these laws will be prosecuted and incarcerated for 5 years.

I know some of this potential laws sound crazy but there is going to be food scarcity in the near future and the only way to lessen it's impact is to reduce the population especially in countries with a rapdily growing population like Nigeria ,Ethopia,Egypt ,DRC and South Africa

Here is a link to Africa's current population staistic for each country,it is very scary: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_African_countries_by_population

Most of these population explosion is due to the "stupid" and regressive cultures being practiced on the African continent.Something needs to be done otherwise we will all regret it in future.

@ProudlyNigerian, I agree with you wholeheartedly, what Africa needs is education not more breeding, I always say we should like other advanced nations do away with cultures which are detrimental to our development as ppl, eg polygamy this is a sham disguised as culture to suppress development of girl child, I don't know how Africans think they can compete with best in the world when 50% of its human resources is dis-empowered and entrapped in primitive cultures.

I seem to remember reading this mandla character saying he was for ukwethwala culture, a culture where young girls are kidnapped and forced into marriage to complete strangers, hence I often wonder if a so called chief can agree with something this regressive, what informs the mind behind deciding who should be a chief for the clan?

@somaartakeit..don't pay any attention to Ngwedane'endala.People like him are not aware that we are in this together as a race , a continent and a people.

In regards to tunisia ,i wish them luck.It is going to be hard for them to win because they mix religion with politics.By the way North Africa is not the only place where female c!rcumcision takes place,it also happens in west Africa. My younger sister was c!rcumcised thanks to my over conservative mum but the younger members of my family protested against the elders a few years back and my family has now stopped that barbaric practice.

You are right about the fact that education plays a big role in changing the mindset of people.I am all for African cultures but only for progressive practices.Another alarming thing is that countries like the USA ,UAE and South Korea are now buying up arable land in Africa to secure their food security at the expense of Africans.

People are not really paying attention to what is going on now but in a few decades we will start to feel the pinch when as Africans we no longer have access to our own arable lands and all the farm produce are being shipped off to non African countries.Mass scale Agriculture and systematic population reduction is what African Governments should be focusing on now to ensure the survival of our people.

@ProudlyNigerian, most times I try to ignore them but sometimes the good guys must stand up to the bad guys for the good of human race, if we allow the Ngwedane's divisive comments we will have another holocust or a repeat of Ruanda episode in our hands,

It annoys me when SAns (now that we 'think' we are free) mistreat other African migrants and make xenophobic remarks against them, do you know Africans struggle to be accepted in other continents? Russia is on a full blown ethnic cleansing spree and majority of its victims are Africans with little to no convictions? Do you know that Israel recently made remarks about booting out African migrants from there? Any country in Africa SA incl is FIRST a home of every country African. I get sick in my stomach, that ignorant SAns have joined into the xenophobic bandwagon, I hate it so much, especially when I consider where we come from. Does it not amaze you that its almost always victims of prejudice themselves who later become xenophobs? Anyway apart from that.../

and with regards to buying of arable land in Africa, I must put it to you, what's the difference with what African leaders today are doing iro pawning our resources, and what African leaders (chiefs) in the olden days did iro slave trade and selling off the land in return for mirrors and bottles of whiskeys? I tell you my brother African ppl are their own worse enemies for their failure to learn from past mistakes. That is why I say Africa needs education like it needs oxygen to cure our ppl of this ignorance which only serves to destruct our advancement as a race.

@Somaartakeit..don't worry about it sister, the sensible and objective immigrants in SA know that only a few SAns are like this. There are xenophobes in every African country not only SA.It is always best to ignore them so that we can get on with tackling real issues. Most SAns i meet in person everyday are the nicest people i have ever met so i don't pay any attention to these "internet taxi rank" bullies who try so hard to appear xenophobic.

In regards to Isreal, they did deport the African immigrants(mostly Sudanese). They also gave each deportee about $1000.If we can get our act together ,elect good leaders and contribute to our continent positively there will be no need for any of our people to migrate to any country and be treated like vermin.I really don't know why Africans migrate to Russia because the economic prospects of that country is quite dim.

I concur , Africans are their own worst enemies, corruption ,nepotism, tribalism ,xenophobia ,petty jealousy ,selfishness and racism has robbed us of our economic growth as a continent and a people. We have the resources but lack the collective understanding to utilize to our own benefit as well as that of our future generations.

@ProudlyNigerian the Israel and African migrants is dire than that, the report I read it cited Eritreans and Somalians as main African migrants, I ask myself, if the AU (HQ) is based in Ethiopia close to were human destruction is happening, why any of our African leaders haven't spoken out against this and the AU taking actions to curb this?

the other day BBC world aired a documentary, where interviewed a guy running an NGO that is looking into migrant issues, that guy said there are vast numbers of unmarked graves of African migrants who captured and murdered for their organs by body parts traffickers, apparently this practice is rife in Egypt, why has AU not done anything against this?

I also want to venture and propose that, the country which produces most refugees and trafficked humans, the gov of that country should be hauled to the HAGUE and answer on a charge for human rights violations.

In the meantime Africa's only salvation is education, cause without that no one is any wiser and our ppl will continue to suffer consequences of ignorance which is sweeping through the continent. The analysis you gave there is quite an eye opener,i never thought of it that way.Body part trafficking is unfortunately now a big business in Northerner Africa. There quite a number of East Europeans as well as German syndicates working in those areas and buying body parts from the locals.During the Libyan uprising a lot of African immigrants were slaughtered under the guise of them being Qaddafi mercenaries.

On the African continent in terms of refugees ,i believe Democratic Republic of Congo & Zimbabwe comes first while in terms of illegal immigrants i believe Nigeria comes first.I will give an arm to see the leaders of Nigeria hang for high treason. These guys have been looting since forever but no one can touch them because they are protected the Mossad in Abuja. As long as the oil flow to the west is not interrupted no one can touch Nigerian leaders.

This is the crux of the matter ProudlyNigerian, when black Africans start valuing themselves and demand best service and respect from office bearers they elect only then will the West be empowered to deal with despots here who are causing refugees, I say we give these ppl permission to abuse us, they use colonialism card (guilt trip) to get us to submit to them, whilst as you say they are looting the continent, I was shocked to learn (after the Arab Spring) how much leaders of that region have looted from their respective countries since they assumed power, Africa is riddled with genes of Mobuto Sesekos because we are meak race, we tolerate abuse.

The other day I was shocked by behaviour of some so called educated SAns when Mandla visited London, I happen to have been there, some of them have doctorate degrees but they were groveling to him like they were proper peasants it was actually pathetic, not that Mandla was spouting anything of substance more than he was trying to mimics the way Mandela speaks, that guy has nothing to offer he has no personality nor charisma I fail to understand how he became elected to be a chief nevermind MP. it is this calibre of leaders that we (black Africans) elect which makes other nations/races to not respect us.

Now after the peasants in the EC elected Mandla as a chief, do you know what he did to them? he desecrated some graves and when called upon, he didn't' apologise he said it was the bones of the animal, now I ask myself where do Africans (black) get all this patience to take all this abuse from the leaders they elect? This guy brings in a new meaning to what a leaders should be or stands for, I am afraid if this guy were to have his way, SA would be like Swaziland.

Otherwise how else can one explain that the ruling party is comfortable, I say they are comfortable cause they have not fired anyone for education crisis in Limpopo and countrywide, how is the ruling party comfortable with presidential family (former and current) creating destitute (is it 700?) employees of Aurora who are put into poverty by reckless behaviour of both mandela zondwa and zuma's nephew,

now I want you to analyse this, this 700 men who prolly have at least one wife and 2 kids (minimum) are jobless, thsi means they cant pay schooling requirements for their children, is this not perpetuation of slavery? Now how is it possible for black SAns who are most affecting by this scrouge to vote for this?
