2nevvy4u, I was asking myself the same question. And even if you could, who would have their daily withdrawal limit set so high anyway? Methinks only someone who wants to claim from the banks.

I see nowhere in the article where they mention ATMs. It's mentioned "the pair used the same tellers at each bank". Please read carefully before commenting

IT means the frausters went inside the bank,produced Identities and withdrew from a same teller each time they went to withdrew of which they withdrew on two separate ocassions on each branch .

lOL ok ok i get the story here fine , But then if i had over R 100 000.00 in my account arent they suppose to call the account holder and ask him/her if he sent some1 to withdrew out money , coz last time i withdrew R 30 000.00 i had a letter with signature and with my ID copy n original with me and the account holders ID , at Sandton Standard bank nd they called him to confrim it coz they know ppl forge signatures > lol i dont understand this story >

POLICE ARE SEARCHING THEM. FOR HOW LONG. MAYBE THEY MANAGED TO LOCATE THE CULPRITS AND THEY TOOK THE LIONS SHARE.
