It is very correct, the stalinist tendencies in the ANC must be done away with, the dogmatism of silencing the dissenting voices must be done away with if we are to get the ANC on track. Gauteng as the light in the ANC will persuade others for leadership change and that has to happen and the menace called JZ must give way and concentrate on Nkandlaville.

I know the PARTY seems to be convinced on maintaining the status quo but now i think we need the ANCWL to advocate for change in leadership and all will be done. The sabotage of of the OR Tambo branch elction is prove of how dogmatic the Zuma camp is trying by hook or crook to get the " YES SIRS" to Mangaung to endorse himn for the second term.. Blade must also get a wake up call he does not need JZ as the ANC for survival in the cabinet, his praise singing of JZ will do him a disservice as it is JZ who is divisive in the NDM.

Which fool can forget a 60 million party that Mashatile threw while he was still the MEC of Finance in Gauteng, the money which he used to bribe the delegates to vote him as the Provincial Chair! We need to involve the owners of Government who are the people if we want to win the race against corruption, we know Comrade Kgali just like Blade does not want to accept the new leadership manual which is going to deliver the ANC from itself into the hands of our people! We want political platform to be opened to all our people black, white, green,yellow or gold! Everybody who have a talent to lead must be given a chance to the fullest level, that is if people elect him or her to stand!
If people says they want Dr Mamphela Ramphela to be the Minister of Heath because she is educated and have got the interests of the poor at heart than led it be and if the people of Limpopo and South Africa want Mark Heywood to be their Minister of Education because he has their interests at heart than let it be, that is what the people want, why should the peoples interests be channeled through the political line and affiliation, we need to break that barrier of a shackle if we are serious about wining war against corruption!

People must be involved and be given platform to be harsh about leaders who are stealing from Government coffers or managing rubbish of Government services. There must be power through the amendment of the Constitution and the enabling Act of Parliament to afford our people a liberal democracy which does not have any barriers to entry!! That way we will get rid of Cadres who are controlled by money and sexual fantasies! And I do not think our people will give us an illiterate as the President like the illiterate ANC branches have done! We must stop advocating and protecting obvious wrong things in our political circles through the power of the majority of the informed people of our country, the Egyptians and Tunisians liberated themselves I think we can also do the same by liberating our political system to be accessed by anyone across couler and political affiliation!

I think its a good gesture from Cde Motlanthe that once he become a president he will not be biased to anyone but ANC itself. unlike JZ who was factional towards Polokwane, Motlanthe knows the principle and will stand when the time is right. i.e October 2012. and for obvious reasons Motlanthe has already won the race.

Khalema is not one of the allies of JZ with him is there any assurity that himself is the best candidate. My analysis in him i believe politically has serve the anc well. Thats where i comfused!!! Even myself like to see good leadership of the anc that would put the interest of the anc at heart and mobilise motive forces and state machineries for bettering the life of South Africans.

The legacy never dies down; it is always there the issue is who carries it forward. I do not for one expect the current leadership of the ANC to make drastic changes as they are influenced by the prejudices of the Bantustans like if i may say former BCM members have found a home in the ANC and remember BCM struggle was never for the poor and the working class same like that of the Bantustan leaders and their surrogates. Let me mention that within the BCM there was real cadres of the NDM who were pro poor and working class but very few.
The renewal of the ANC cannot be the hope that JZ will after Mangaung become a transformed leader; he will remain an uncircumcised leader who gets an erection every time he get frustrated and looks at an unfortunate woman. Motlanthe has always been stability in the ANC even in the times of turmoil before Cde TM was removed. He always kept a level tone never raised his voice and agitated for political education in the ANC. He also never supported the swearing and vulgar in the ANC and he stood up to show his disdain just like the like of Cde Skweyiya and that is what i call resolute leadership to values and principles. Remember Gwede then relinquished his position in NUM to pave his way for the PARTY chairmanship and ANC secretary general. Gwedes tactics are the same now he refused nomination for the PARTY's chairmanship and can anyone tell why?
Gwede is honing for the ANC deputy presidency be it if either JZ ousted retains and if Motlanthe wins or loses. The worst of all leaders in the top six is Gwede followed by mom Baleka and lastly the no brainer - brain in penny JZ. The other three in the top six Mom Cde Thandi, Cde Matthew and Motlanthe are real cadres who have the interest of the NDM at heart.
If you make it to Mangaung or your branch decides on leadership please go for Cde Motlanthe, Lindiwe or Max Sisulu, Thandi Modise, Matthew Phosa, Fikile Mbalula and Jeff Radebe for the top six. The rest of the NEC will work itself out, Tokyo though mad for a leadership position does not have clout. He is noisy and lacks the IT factor. Maybe later after the terms of those elected in leadership will he understand that his noises and lack of acumen are doing his aspiration for the top six only but a pipe dream?

I would prefer the ANC out of power, but if that cannot happen, then it must indeed renew itself, moraaly especially. Mothlanthe can do it. He is playing it right and by the book by not announcing his candidacy. The ANC has decided that debate on leadership may only start in October, and then if he is nominasted, there is little doubt that he will accept. I like this man, he is disciplined and principled.

I am not sure what makes people think that Kgalema will make a difference. He has held powerful positions in the ANC and the rot just continued!! Moss Phakoe lost his life whilst JZ, the Messiah Kgalema and the rest of the ANC Top Six sat idle with the report from the late Moss. When Mbeki did his thing, the Messiah was the SG and what did he do?? Paul Mashatile is corrupt to the core. I wonder why Limpopo is under administration whilst the most corrupt provincial government (Gauteng) is left alone. Paul's cronies continue to defraud the Gauteng Provincial govt. The current Top Six of the ANC must go together with most provincial chairpersons and only then will the ANC be renewed!!!!!! We must stop glorifying individuals that we like even when they do not perform. South Africans must define the type of leaders we need and we must not compromise on that!!!!!! The current crop do not deserve to lead the ANC nor the South African government!!!!

Optimism comes from leaving with purpose, even those who started the strugle new that it was not going to be easy but ultimately it happend. My folks fought forced removal for so long and they ultimately won right now what we are still fighting for is acquire the land we lost to the white regime because of the reserve system.

I was introduced to this at a very tender age of seven, tought socialism at ten and introduced to communism at twelf. I was taught that things never remain the same, also taught that the ANC will behave the same way it does today if the SACP can be weakened.See on the list of cadres i have one very strong communist, Jeff is a real communist and cadre of the NDM. I did not choose Blade because he is a praise singer like Hegel. remember hegel is the first to come communism but the fact of being a preacher made him not to be robust.Max , Rosa, Trotsky,Lenin are the once who had a drive and that was destroyed by Stalins dogmatism and totally paralysed by Gorbachev.

Right now Putin is trying to put those pieces of the phylosophy of socialism and communism together and we in the in Africa are busy trying to remove the shackles from our legs and hands. We in Africa are busy removing the petty prejudices we were raised with to be social and communal again for the attainment socialism leading to communism.

Mangaung should not be a platform for this kind of nonsense instead should deal with improving the party which has already many cracks. ANC is voted to power not only by the members of the party but by the people of SA who some of them are not card carrying members.
