Only if you put more effort into such excersice of giving people houses since the day you were elected, today you wouldnt be worried of Mangaung, but its a little late! there are still millions out there waiting for such houses, while some have collapsed already.

Every newspaper is telling us about Zumaville, except Sowetan. The Editor is questionable.

Just a ruse to garner votes. This handful of RDP houses does not wipe out the billions that have been stolen by zuma and his cronies. The putrid mess they've made of the health system, the rampant corruption - billions that could have build decent houses for millions (decent houses - not the death traps that are knocked together by tender benders) - the dismal failure of the education department that is going to scar generations of children. These things are not going to go away. The apallingly high rate of unemployment amongst the youth and the anc's complete disregard for the law (shaik, selebi, blue light brigades, mutata ..... the list is endless). Its going to take a helova lot more than a few poxy RDP houses to fix this mess. zuma and his cronies are out. They do not deserve respect. No more precious votes wasted on them. They are greedy, selfish, incompetent parasites. We deserve better.

Yeah right but President Jacob Zuma spent R65 million on his remote family homestead at Nkandla in rural KwaZulu-Natal (see http://mg.co.za/article/2009-12-04-zumas-r65m-nkandla-splurge).It does put it in context though.

So, that is why uMsholozi administration will get a second term. He delivers to his promises. This is a clear example that uMsholozi and his people are delivering to their promises.

Dumelang Bloggers.

I think Zuma is trying to win Gauteng over for mangaung, and at the same shift our focus from Zumaville. for me, whether he wins or loses at Mangaung anc has lost my vote already. they have done too little for the masses and a lot much more for themselves and their families.

High days and holidays. We'd get nothing without them.

They can put up a mall in less than three months but it takes two years to build 200 crumbling houses?

Well said, there are more malls in the country since 2007, than RDP's since 1994!

All you howlers and liars must just shut up. Zuma's term as president of the country is not up until 2014 and we expect him to deliver until then. Mangaung is only for ANC members and govt service delivery has nothing to do with ANC elections, you of little twisted minds going around wearing "Mangaung coloured-glasses". Zuma has been delivering since he took office, your ignorance in gross. Zuma has been to all provinces starting govt projects or his self-initiated Masibambisane projects. I have seen him handover tractors to famers in Mpumalanga and Matatiele in EC, I have seen him starting a multi-pronged project in Muyeshe village in Limpopo for the villagers to receive electricity, water, houses, community centre and agricultural support. Instead of sitting the whole day writing twak, what are you doing to uplift communities? Not so long ago, Zuma ensured the delivery of clean water to villagers around Hamanskraal in response to a letter written to him by a concerned resident. Two weeks ago he was in KZN also delivering a number of services as a response to a plea by a young boy who wrote to the presidency detailing the plight of the villagers. The list is endless if you care to know. On Sunday/Monday, Zuma was in Jamaica on a working state visit, on Tuesday/Wednesday he was in the Seychelles to broker peace between warring factions Madagascar, on Thursday he was at the Women's Day rally at Union Buildings, today he is handing over houses, not starting to build, this project was started in 2010 when Zuma was new in office. You guys are just bored. How early was he supposed to start the project? Zuma became President in May 2009 and already in 2010 he initiated this project. At that time Zuma was saying he wanted to serve only 1 term but Julius and Vavi were insisting on him serving 2 terms. The way he is so busy with his work, he deserves the business jet in order to cover time for work and his family. You can fool some people at times, but you can't fooll all the people all the time.
