SACP says Limpopo premier must go
Limpopo premier Cassel Mathale has failed the poor and the working class and must be fired, the SA Communist Party in the province says
“The immediate answer will be the removal of premier Cassel Mathale and his entire executive council, because all the mess from education, to health and to treasury occurred with their complicity,” said provincial secretary Gilbert Kganyago.
African National Congress provincial spokesman Makonde Mathivha rubbished the SACP’s call.
“The SACP doesn’t have any right to say that the [Limpopo] premier of the ANC must resign.”
The SACP’s provincial executive committee held a two-day meeting in Polokwane at the weekend.
It discussed issues, such as the late or non-delivery of textbooks to Limpopo schools.
Kganyago said: “Cassel Mathale has become a national embarrassment to the tripartite alliance.”
He said there was no government at provincial level.
“We have seen the collapse of basic services in education, which is epitomised by the textbook crisis.”
Kganyago said there was no visionary leadership on Mathale’s part, because he should have planned ahead to make sure it (the mess) did not happen.
“The health system is also in dire straits.”
He said there was no food or medicine for patients.
“Those things are very serious. A delay to remove Mathale is actually worsening and deepening the crisis that our ordinary people are faced with, and it’s high time that he must be fired.”
Mathivha said these problems were passed down from previous administrations.
“Any person who says that Mathale must resign, those people are not genuine.”
He said the party was not surprised, as these calls were made by people who “failed to win at the ANC provincial conference in December”.
“We expect these things to happen leading up to Mangaung.”

I think the SACP should disband and form a lobby Party for post in the Zuma Gov. It palin rubbish to say Mathale should go. I am not Mathale fan, but it has to be the director general of eduction in Limpopo, viz, Dickson to first anf then National Minister next. Mathale should be last.Report Abuse

The PARTY has always been the voice of concience for the ANC but now they are becoming praise singers. Gilbert Kganyago should look at when did the Mathale administration report this problem, it was done in September 2011. Zuma and Treasury then focused on the clause 100 instead of how to remedy the situation, even Mom Angie, Panyasa and Thulas were roped in to give this whole excersice legitimacy. Gilbert Kganyago is a disappointment to the norms of the SACP as the Party has always been a voice of reason.I even think that Mom Angie must start speaking as this whole mess was because of Treasury and the Presidency , we are sitting out here with a clear conciense observing the debacle . We know that the menace in this whole saga is JZ, he is chaos where ever he goes. From his chairmanship of KZN to his current position he is a curse to the NDM. All of us who wanted him to be president erred but that has to be fixed at Mangaung. He also tried to put Lindiwe Sisulu in the deep by making her PWM but that failed since Lindiwe managed to outfox him.
It is time that the ANCWL wake up and also assist in disposing the NDM of this menace called JZ, we need a leader not a leader who is only interested in making sure that the next President of the ANC will be indian because of the urge to win colour(white) votes

We want to assure our poor and marginalized citizens who cannot take their kids to Private Schools due to financial strains that Cassel and Dickson will never ever be forgiven for a degrading merciless mess that they have caused to the children of Limpopo! To some of us this brings an emotional pain and stress as we know where and how the movement and our black society suffered and come from! It is very embarrassing and too down-low to witness in disbelieve our most trusted Comrades taking their own blood and souls as ''cheap material'' which deserve nothing but dumping! We are tired of hyenas who are wearing the leather of the colours of the ANC ''gesturing'' as hopefuls and faithfuls in search of self enrichment and fame so that they can sleep with all the models in the world and explore their global and domestic sexual fantasies with the tax payers money under the banner of the ANC as their scapegoat, singing false opportunistic hypocritical tunes in the name of 'service delivery' and false financially inclined honesty and deceitful passion to our historic movement! Time will come in the ANC were we will directly deal with this lot of dung and gut! We will spew them out of our movement to the dismay of their disbelieve! Away with illiterate tsotsis and taxi drivers in our precious movement! Alluta!!! Time to get rid of hyenas in the ANC colours is now this idiot illiterate Premier must immediately get the hell out of our precious Provincial Government! Go home and have sex with his lots of girlfriends and sugar mamas! Sex addicts will never be leaders!!Report Abuse

I agree...... BUT who voted for the SACP? They have no mandate to shout about anything. If they don't like the way the ANC is running the country then they must grow a pair and take it to the polls
