TRAFFIC officers in Merafong, whose salaries were slashed recently without explanation, allegedly also had their patrol vehicles taken away because they do not issue enough fines.

Sorry officers if I were you I will be taking bribes left , right and centre , now is the time show no mercy , no one passes your road block without forking out a bribe , They will never do this in Jozi CBD they know what we will do , we will even make the Premier pay a bribe to pass

I think its a good initiative everybody must work for his/her money , i wish this could be applied to the saps as well , they must get a basic salary of R5000 and the rest is commision earned from catching the criminals.
