HUNDREDS of part-time students at a Pretoria Further Education and Training college are angry over the management's sudden cancellation of the entire second semester.
Blade! This is for You to handle now. Do this as soon as now before calls are made for You to be fired like Angie. I smell a smearing campaign to discredit officials. Report Abuse

I won’t take my child to this college or any FET college for that matter, lectures are lazy, the admin dept always lose students results & that Baloyi woman is just full of herself & she’s so clueless you’ll wonder how did she get that job, an advise from someone who know go to university’s & stop going to FET colleges coz they are full of half-educated lecturers who don’t even attend class’s what they do best ke ho jolana & le ho prekisana
The ppl who this article refer to are those ppl who were handpicked by the incompetent college management that has now run the college into bankruptcy. The 2 managers (Curriculum & HOD) do not qualify to be in those positions, hence it's one of the demands by the College Labour Forum in a memorandum handed over to college council on 20/07/2012 to remove those who were hand-picked.
To make matters worse, this Modiba is an engineer but heading the Business Studies Department. As for lecturers not being paid for the 1st semester, it's not the DoET that's supposed to pay lectures as this classes are self sustainable, management has allegedly ciao'd the public funds hence the CFO & Financial Manager have since been suspended pending further investigations. Where is that barking puppy called Blade Nzimande??? He is busy wiping Zuma's ass instead of attending real needs of students on the ground. What happened to the budget of this college? Has it been deposited to trust fund for building Nkandla's Zumaville already?
To the Management of TNC:
Why did you take student's deposit money if you knew that you were not going to assist them??????? This is daylight robbery. Sis Man ! Report Abuse
I find it strange that the HOD of that business and general studies to cancel the part time lessons for the simple reason that DHET did not pay them for the first semester work that is not the students problem but the college managementthat should have ensured that lecturers are paid .I want to believe that the management will resume part studies once and for all.
