That is not a sign of someone who is remorseful of their actions. They are sorry they got caught and punished, not for their racist views.

You deserve everything coming your way and more, my jaw dropped when I read those comments for the first time. I could not understand how someone so young could be that racist. The two deserve the harshest sentence possible and more inspite of the so-called apology.

That is because you are young and ignorant. A full on civil war is the last thing SA ever needed. Just look at the other parts of the world and see how many dozens of decades it takes to overcome the effects of a civil war.

Nobody should put up with racist utterances - regardless of what colour the person is. It is when we have people in the pubs who stand up and say 'that is unacceptable language' or on public transport and say 'I will not put up with that'. Then we know that it is not a universal problem but one that is only perpetuated by a few ignorant fools

War is not the way to go, we are not Europeans or Americans running around starting wars when we feel like it, they is no progress in war, racism will always be part of some races, especially races that are concerned with self-preservetion. The only way to go is for everybody to marry or interbreed with everybody and dialute our current races into one breed world wide.

Knobkirrie, you must have the wrong word, I'm sure. Kragdadigheid is a beautiful quality to have. It means you put action to your words, instead of just talking, talking. Something we can do with in government nowadays. Now, as for baasskap, I believe your forefathers lived under it long before the white man came to Africa. You just had a different word for it. It was whatever you called the king or leader of your tribe or group. Even the animal kingdom experience baasskap. As long as people or animals form groups, there will always be baasskap.
Oh, and by the way, there is no such thing as a stupid question....only stupid answers. You quote the great Martin Luther King Jnr, but you forget to live by his example. He never took the actions of one or two people to define a complete group. He would have called that racism, something which you are quick to recognise in others,but fail to see in yourself.

I read the sinclair boys's tweet and i must say that i have read worse on news24.If you want to see the how riddled with hate the minds of some South Africans are visit the comments sections sowetanlive, timeslive and new24.

A lot of people here are crucifying these kids but they themselves are worse.Discrimination is practiced by most South Africans so nothing new there.It is the way of life in SA.Everybody hates everybody because of either skin color,nationality,language or tribe.Until South Africans start to individually take responsibility for their actions and make amends, this kind of thing will never stop.

OLDLADY4- Dont confuse feudal system with apartheid (baasskap) system. Kings and leaders (everywhere in the world) lived a class system, whereby the rich rule and the poor get ruled. Some monarchs used the divide and rule policy, only to conquer other nations. Apartheid used divide and rule to secure the white man on the pinnacle, whilst the rest find problems with each other. If you are such an expert on MLK jnr, how come you let apartheid continue for 3 more decades? Its because you were benefiting from a 'whites only' policy. I can argue (politically) at the highest level, but I wont stoop to defending my principles against an ideology that regard other human beings as inferior. Even today, you and your people still own our country, if you want to call that freedom, then I am the pope. Baaskap is a product of apartheid, get you facts right!!
