the ANCYL along with other so called leagues has over the years lost tough with its original mandate. To look after and champion the progression of South African youths.

These useless organizations need to be dismantled.

I thought Molefe was in Midrand the last time Malema was re-elected the President and where the constitution of the ANCYL was amended. Molefe please read your constitution or ask Angie Motshekga to read it for you as as she is still waiting for the books to be delivered by Edu-Solutions.

Malema is too strong to be resisted. His mouth is surrounded by facts. Zuma never met Malema before head to head , because Juju is too tough.

Malema has been banned from ANC, that means his position is vacant. Surely there should be a process to fill the vacancy???

Simon Molefe is just out of order. In any revolution there are boud to be counter-revolutionaries and Molefe is precisely playing that role. He should not think that we are all stupid and do not know what is going on in the ANC. It is clear that there are some in the ANC who have no regard for principles or values. Their stomach is their god. Who in his right mind fails to understand the simple fact that Jacob Zuma and Gwede Mantashe decided to expell Julius Malema because they fear being removed in Mangaung? And whi in his right mind after having given Jacob Zuma a chance to lead the ANC over the past five years , would like to give him a second term when he has dismally failed as president of the ANC and the country? Who in in his right mind would like to give a man with hardly a standard 2 education to lead the ANC again and tackle such serious challenges as poverty, unemployment, inequalities, crime etc, when the man has been weighed and found wanting? It is very clear that comrades such as Simon Molefe follow their stomachs instead of principle. They should not be allowed to rise to the pinnacles of power on the misery and poverty of ordinary South Africans.

We in the ANC have been playing games over the past seven years or so (led by Jacob Zuma). It is time to stop the foolish games of the past seven years or so and start focussing on delivering to South Africans. We have all tried the Zuma way, and he has been given a chance to do something for the ANC and country but has dismally failed. It is time to move on. The likes of Simon Molefe and Pule Mabe must reign in their won unbridled ambitions. The time for Zuma games is over.

To all those who are asking what ANCYL has done for the country or ANCYL has long lost the plot....

ANCYL is the division of the ANC not South Africa. It's African national congress youth league not South African Youth league.
Secondly ANCYL is there to polish future leaders and mobilise youth behind the liberal movement...
Some-1 here asked what Malema did for the country? What a lame question..
answer - Malema does not have any responsibility to take S.A forward. It is the people who are in governance who got duty to take S.A forward.
As citizens of the country, we can only share ideas to take S.A forward..next time you will ask what Gwede Mantashe has done for the country..Plse people think!!

To all those who are lambasting Sowetan in publishing Malema story or Zuma story..

Either you like it or not - the juicy news right now in South Africa are the news of Malema,Zuma and textbook issue..So newspapers will run and publish anything concerning those

Malema should be recalled by the ANCYL (from office), the process of alecting a new leader should begin (although if you ask me, the ANCYL has outstayed its welcome, obsolete and past its sale by date and should be disbanded and intergrated into the mother body)

I fail to understand why most ppl are still so stupid nor blinded by Malema, he may act as brave and non compromising to all but @ the end most of his followers will realise that long when its too late when Juju will be alone counting his millions of rands in his bank account and the poor followers exposed and with nothing and no one to look up to, it will be every man for himself...whoe to those who are hailing his praise right now..mark my words in the next coming years
