Margate police are questioning a man about the murder of ANC councillor Wandile Mkhize
“The man was arrested… for the illegal possession of a gun. He is also being questioned by police about Wandile Mkhize’s murder,” police spokesman Captain Gerald Mfeka said.
The 41-year-old man was questioned late into Thursday night.
The 34-year-old Hibiscus Coast councillor was gunned down near his home in the Margate area on the night of June 30. His funeral on July 8 was attended by African National Congress top brass, including President Jacob Zuma.

Well done to the cops for a swift action. I heard through the grape vine that more arrest are following. police have all the evidence (footage of the killers)
