@Chichi7
I also got R500 for speeding at 80 in 60K/hr zone. Our Justice is corrupt and corrupted. I ask the idiot traffic police why R500,he told me i either pay or negotiate behind bars. I have enough responsibilities than visiting a jail for a time.

The state should let this family deal with this matter on their own otherwise we will have to feed the whole family. What are they investigating, the guy should claim self defence because it was either him or his brother, that is the outcome of a fight. I know a guy who k i l l e d his girlfriend & they have 2 kids, the family of the girl told the court to release him to look after his kids as they could not afford it, they said God will deal with him.

Guys, fact is the deceased was a troublesome good for nothing bloke. Also there is strong possibility that the youngest would have stabbed the eldest had he not taken the knife from him and stabbed him. The parents are heartbroken of cause, but the brother was a seriuose troublemaker.

Phetlapi, where is justice failing us in this case? He was arrested, out on bail, investigation ongoing, case on going, the trial will come where they will decide if he is or not guilty. It seems like the younger brother was the trouble maker, surely there are people who know this story in here, I bet this was a self defence from the older brother. I say this is a family matter let them sort it out, the guy is no danger to the society.

This was a horrific mistake...I blame booze/excessive drinking for this tragedy. I simply can't believe people think they are more concerned about his brother more than he is. Get off your low horses. This man knows and cares about the deceased more than you do. And he's gonna be punished for the death of his loved one because law has to take its course...not because you people say so or you care about the deceased and the family as a whole.

DA-DBN-GUY

Am I missing something here? The guy hands himself in for the murder of his brother and the police still need to investigate further? So then why the bail? This country is going to the dogs and criminals!

the death of the brother was an accident. If you still remember the first article. Its difficult for the family
because at the end blood is thicker than water. unlike if he could have killed a stranger.
i support bail decision.
