MADIBA'S former wife, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, yesterday sang the praises of expelled ANC Youth League leader Julius Malema, who formed part of her entourage during Mandela Day celebrations in Qunu.
I love Tata i do but he is becoming overrated, everywhere you go its Mandela this Mandela that i am sick of it, its like eating way too much oats with a lot of salt in it.

The problem with Winnie is she is she is factionalist and divisive so she adds to the problems the party is experiencing. I take issue with anyone who sides with Malema because of his obvious indiscipline, generally dragging the party down and his much publicised corruption allegations which are in all probability are true. The question is what does Winnie stand for and what kind of a party does she think the ANC and country deserve.
One would expect someone with such a rich history in the struggle to better understand what is important to the party but then again this is the woman who ran a squad of com-tsotsi’s and is directly linked to the disappearance of Stompie who was last seen alive in her presence so perhaps it is not surprising she would associate with someone like Malema. She handled and used ama-comrades just like she is used Malema and is now his biggest defender.
I just wish she was driven by morality and principle, perhaps then she would be treated with respect and people would listen to her. Even her outbursts were motivated by a personal agenda even though there is credit in a lot she said in the letter sent to Zuma. Mbeki did not like her as well so there must be something about her that makes people want to keep their distance. I recall one day about 8 years ago when I went to greet Winnie and her daughter Zinzi at OR Tambo airport. I was travelling with my boss to Cape Town and they were going to Durban. My boss (who is black and an ANC fanatic) did not take kind in me greeting the Mandelas. I asked him why and he told me that the world might see Winnie as the Mother of Africa but she has hurt some people badly and gave the example of Stompie.

Its nothing out of the ordinary, it is a cycle we go through every 11 years and we are approaching a peak in this cycle. The only thing that is different is this peak coincides with Dec 2012 so in the absence of likely culprits the conspiracy theories focus on solar flares. Keep in mind that our magnetosphere is doing a brilliant job protecting us from the danger so even if we came under direct attacks hopefully the bulk of the radiation would be deflected away as it has throughout history.
I would be worried if poles suddenly shifted as this would live us with holes in the magnetosphere, in that case we would in serious trouble and if massive gaps are left then you are possible looking at increased raduiation exposure and energy grids being destroyed all over the world. Now that would take us back to the stone ages and would leave millions dead in the aftermath. Our lives revolve around electricity from refrigeration to producing fuel based energy like petrol so basically most commercial activity would cease for months. But 2012 theories depend on a number of factors going south all at the same time which is so unlikely it is not worth worrying over.
Come Dec 22 we would still be talking about how silly the conspiracy was, the sun is going to shine and we will go about our business as we did days before. Report Abuse

Not at all, first let me correct your assumptions about me, I am not a fan of both Jacob and Juju they are both bad for the country. In 84-86 in not mistaken Nasa issued a statement that a large solar body has been found beyond pluto(furthest planet of our solar system) and what the article said was that all thats left is to name these body. It was ven stated that this body has an eliptic orbit(which was not heared off as our solar system planets have round orbits) which sends it away for long periods hiding this body behind the sun(hence it cannot be viewed easily)
Then the same Nasa issued another statement that they were incorect about this planet, theproblem was with the mass of pluto which was not accurate hence why they detected the behaviour asthat Pluto seems to be interacting with another larger mass
The said planet was said to be ferrouse in nature hencehas stronger magnectic fields than normal,
Now if u have a strong magnet passing next to another magnectic body, they either push or pull each other depending on their mass, the sun is large and the said planet of 84-86 is also large, hence the suns behaviour, otherwise if the sun was small it wouled have moved away ot toward this body. i have my doubts about the pluto mass issue because if the mass was not accurate it could have been picked up on its interactions with other known solar bodies, i.e using say newton 3rd law, one will get conflicting results when calculation say distance between two solar bodies from pluto, but calculations have been consistent until when they picked up this mistery planet. the mass of Pluto was published in literature and then only for it to be wrong when we dismiss the existence of another planetory body?

I wonder if you include me in this statement. What I would do if I were in your shoes is I would submit an argument that highlights Malema's strong points and try to prove everyone else is wrong. The problem with Winnie is she is she is factionalist and divisive so she adds to the problems the party is experiencing. I take issue with anyone who sides with Malema because of his obvious indiscipline, generally dragging the party down and his much publicised corruption allegations which are in all probability are true. The question is what does Winnie stand for and what kind of a party does she think the ANC and country deserve.One would expect someone with such a rich history in the struggle to better understand what is important to the party but then again this is the woman who ran a squad of com-tsotsi’s and is directly linked to the disappearance of Stompie who was last seen alive in her presence so perhaps it is not surprising she would associate with someone like Malema. She handled and used ama-comrades just like she is used Malema and is now his biggest defender.
I just wish she was driven by morality and principle, perhaps then she would be treated with respect and people would listen to her. Even her outbursts were motivated by a personal agenda even though there is credit in a lot she said in the letter sent to Zuma. Mbeki did not like her as well so there must be something about her that makes people want to keep their distance. Malema is bad for SA, championing his cause takes us as a nation back and it erodes whatever credibility you may have.

I recall one day about 8 years ago when I went to greet Winnie and her daughter Zinzi at OR Tambo airport. I was travelling with my boss to Cape Town and they were going to Durban. My boss (who is black and an ANC fanatic) did not take kind in me greeting the Mandelas. I asked him why and he told me that the world might see Winnie as the Mother of Africa but she has hurt some people badly and gave the example of Stompie.Now I can see that my boss was right. How can you support a person like Malema. I now understand why Madiba left her for Graca. I also understand why Mbeki pushed her. Its an open secret also that some members of the Madba family are not in talking terms with her because of her behaviour. I can't think of a greater insult to Tata Nelson Mandela than to mention his name and that of Julius Malema in the same sentence unless it is to highlight the glaring differences.A former ANCYL president cut from the same cloth as Julius is Jacky Selibi, both are corrupt as hell but only one is serving a jail term. Hopefully soon the parallel will extend to both of them sitting in jail for similar crimes though Malema's case is a hundred fold worse and this is the man Winnie is endorsing.

Its nothing out of the ordinary, it is a cycle we go through every 11 years and we are approaching a peak in this cycle. The only thing that is different is this peak coincides with Dec 2012 so in the absence of likely culprits the conspiracy theories focus on solar flares. Keep in mind that our magnetosphere is doing a brilliant job protecting us from the danger so even if we came under direct attacks hopefully the bulk of the radiation would be deflected away as it has throughout history.
I would be worried if poles suddenly shifted as this would live us with holes in the magnetosphere, in that case we would in serious trouble and if massive gaps are left then you are possible looking at increased raduiation exposure and energy grids being destroyed all over the world. Now that would take us back to the stone ages and would leave millions dead in the aftermath. Our lives revolve around electricity from refrigeration to producing fuel based energy like petrol so basically most commercial activity would cease for months. But 2012 theories depend on a number of factors going south all at the same time which is so unlikely it is not worth worrying over.
Come Dec 22 we would still be talking about how silly the conspiracy was, the sun is going to shine and we will go about our business as we did days before.

Not at all, first let me correct your assumptions about me, I am not a fan of both Jacob and Juju they are both bad for the country. Jacob was voted in by the same Juju and I disaprove of the whole process followed. In 84-86 in not mistaken Nasa issued a statement that a large solar body has been found beyond pluto(furthest planet of our solar system) and what the article said was that all thats left is to name these body. It was ven stated that this body has an eliptic orbit(which was not heared off as our solar system planets have round orbits) which sends it away for long periods hiding this body behind the sun(hence it cannot be viewed easily)
Then the same Nasa issued another statement that they were incorect about this planet, theproblem was with the mass of pluto which was not accurate hence why they detected the behaviour asthat Pluto seems to be interacting with another larger mass
The said planet was said to be ferrouse in nature hencehas stronger magnectic fields than normal,
Now if u have a strong magnet passing next to another magnectic body, they either push or pull each other depending on their mass, the sun is large and the said planet of 84-86 is also large, hence the suns behaviour, otherwise if the sun was small it wouled have moved away ot toward this body.

@Dzeli have my doubts about the pluto mass issue because if the mass was not accurate it could have been picked up on its interactions with other known solar bodies, i.e using say newton 3rd law, one will get conflicting results when calculation say distance between two solar bodies from pluto, but calculations have been consistent until when they picked up this mistery planet. the mass of Pluto was published in literature and then only for it to be wrong when we dismiss the existence of another planetory body?

Look at it this way, had there indeed been a planet heading lour way and in a path that would lead to an impact with earth amateur astronomers would have spotted it by now and trust me there is nothing that NASA could do to stop word getting out as you have these all over the world. I wonder if you include me in this statement. What I would do if I were in your shoes is I would submit an argument that highlights Malema's strong points and try to prove everyone else is wrong. Africa is going to waste because ppl continue to put ppl such as Malema on pedestals. All i can say to u is that good luck with ure following of Malema. I hope it will bear some fruits for you. However, the world, let alone SA, does not need ppl like Malema. the world needs ppl who have the needs of the ppl at hear. Our world needs ppl who show concern by not shouting economic freedom, but coming up with solutions on how that can be identified.
I pray that ppl like urselves will one day think for themselves, and stop following so blindly.

I can understand why Madiba divorced Winnie, She is not like him: she is a typical African Elite politician who uses the poor uneducated masses to stay in power and enrich themselves. She "applauded Malema for leading the fight for economic freedom to ensure that all South Africans benefited" Here is a man who is using the uneducated poor to enrich himself financially and politically. If he really was interested in fighting for economic freedom he would: Fight for education, because education is the road to economic freedom. He should be out in front helping to get books to the schools. Malema is a “youth” and should stay out of SA National Politics. Does he know that every country in Africa including South Africa, Nationalized mines results in job loss? That the only people who benefit are people like Mugabe, not the poor who he professes to champion. He is a fraud and if he thinks the poor don’t see through him, he should stand for election as a candidate for a seat in Limpopo as an independent champion for economic freedom for the poor.Report Abuse
