Mandela's cousin is buried
FORMER president Nelson Mandela's cousin Sitsheketshe Morris Mandela was buried on Sunday in Qunu near Mthatha, Eastern Cape.

(Erin Conway-Smith/GlobalPost)In her eulogy Madiba's niece Nomfundo Mandela said Morris had been the darling of everyone in the family and had played a role in raising Madiba's children, especially when he was in prison.
"We - me, Makgatho [Mandela's late eldest son] and Makaziwe [Mandela's daughter] - used to visit uncle Morris in Pimville.
"He would buy Christmas clothes for [us]. Those were nice days we can never, as a family, forget."
People braved the cold weather to pay their last respects to Morris, who died of lung cancer on Wednesday at the Nelson Mandela Academic Hospital in Mthatha.
Among those at the funeral were Madiba's wife Graça, his daughter Makaziwe Mandela and grandson Nkosi Mandla Mandela.
Speakers described Morris as a quiet person, but a disciplinarian and family man who loved his immediate family and the Madiba royal can.
After Mandela's mother's sister died in childbirth, Morris was raised by Nosekeni Mandela and he and Madiba grew up as brothers. They remained close in adult life.
Morris was buried in the Mandela family cemetery in Qunu where Madiba's father and mother and other family members are buried.
The world will celebrate Madiba's birthday on Wednesday.

Makgatho is not the eldest son, the eldest son is Madiba Thembekile, he died of car accident in 1968.
The report that Makgatho is an eldest son is an error that has been repeated so many times by the media such it has become known as the truth.
