I was reading about Nasa’s research on solar flares. It said the flairs would start late 2011 and become worse by the end of 2012 to a point that they will wipe out the power supply on earth not even the Satellites in space are safe.
This article is misleading, sun flares will reach the top of their circle and will therefore increase in frequency but but this is a circle that happens every 7 years or so.
A solar flare would reach a mere 8 minutes to reach earth. Report Abuse

The interesting part is that this solar flares seem to be happening just about the time when one would expect them to, thats if u are aware of the Mayan calender story and the Sumarian myths.
It was said Mr red is coming, if he were to come he will cause pole shifting due to his magnectic field affecting ours, It was said that his orbit hides him behind the sun for a long period, when he does past the sun we might see 2 suns, is it not him causing this flares as if he is realy coming he should be somewhere around or past the sun by now, It has been said that the weather parten will start chanding drasticly as he aproaches Report Abuse

Scientifically it is also expected that the sun will behave badly as it ages, it will expand then mybe even explode in the process, bu currently evidence point that it will cool down eventually and become a red dwarf, and this is expected or predicted some million of years from now, ok the sun might be expanding even now but not somuch that its about to rich its fate. Solar flares have always been there, the recent concern is due to technology and how solar flare affect communication sitalites, also with the advancement of technology abservation tools are much more advance and are able to monitor the flares accurately. They is no end of the world in 2012, even the Mayan calender that end of the world nuts are referencing to does not predict end of this world, it predicts the end of the Mayan calender which marks the end of the 5125 year cycle. It is very natural of humans to fear what they do not know, and always they will just, supestitiously hand it to the so-called super natural being.
Lesson 1 : The solar flares are not new, they have happened even before the Galeo discovered that the sun was the solar system, flares are natural for huge stars like our sun, they sunquakes, just like we have earthquakes.
Lesson 2: We need not to always jump into conclusion that something is ending or beginning without first investigating what the phenomenon is all about.The bible claims that the all the stars form the heaven will fall unto the earth, and that is ridicoulsy impossible because stars are 100 x of more bigger than the earth, this would be similar to saying the earth will fall into a house, that is really unacceptable. What does that tells us about the bible? Simply that it was written by people with the limited knowledge on how and what the planets are and what and how nature acts and reacts, which is understandable because little was known about the universe during that epoch, but what I really do not understand is that why people in this epoch take such false knowledge about the universe true. How can you trust a doctor who tells you that arthritis is caused by dogs to operate on you for a heart related defect?

Exactly, our sun is 4+ billion yrs and that means our sun is growing and like any other thing that grows it has to end. The present sun is the result of a dead parental sun, which might mean that when the parent sun died, its died with all the planets around it and if there was a previous earth planet(which I suspect there was) it was destroyed as the sun expanded as the process of its death. The good news is that the death of our sun will give birth billions and billions later another sun, but what the scientist are not sure about is that will there be another earth planet next to the new sun, as in some galaxies there are suns but not earthlike planets next to them, as they are not in a goldilock zone. A goldilock zone is whereby a planet is positioned in a place that is conducive for life, that is, it is not too far to the sun or too nearer to the sun so as life could exist.

Only difference is that we now have more electronic gadgets so we notice it more, Other than that it is just a normal solar cycle. That fear is the driving force that makes not to even test what my posts says about your faith, fear creates a defense machenism or avoidance. That is the reason why you cannot see the truth and quickly jump to a defence mode.
