How in the 21st Century, with all this technology providing us with so much information can people still believe in communism? It is just a measure of how desperate people have become, that they still believe it offers them hope.
Sure, the idea of a society where everyone shares what they have, and gets what they need sounds great but communism was instigated by brute force and murder, where fear and abuses in every possible area of human rights ensured its very existence. A rat fleeing the sunken ship!How in the 21st Century, with all this technology providing us with so much information can people still believe in communism? It is just a measure of how desperate people have become, that they still believe it offers them hope.
Sure, the idea of a society where everyone shares what they have, and gets what they need sounds great but communism was instigated by brute force and murder, where fear and abuses in every possible area of human rights ensured its very existence. It is like saying you are a Nazi based purely on their economic achievements in the 1930's.
It is ludicrous that the SACP is still an active party in this country, even more insane that they share the same bed as the ruling party. We are a very confused bunch indeed!
