And why did it need a study to tell us this? This has been plain for everyone to see for at least 14 years.

Lets face it. The 'freedom fighters' cannot run a government. Face the facts.

1tsotsi - And the old regime managed to develop the 1st pebblebed nuclear reactor in the world, and sold the patents to Germany. Developed nuclear weapons.

The current cadres cant even distribute textbooks.

Secretary

@rahima
Order chief. The freedom fighters can run the goverment. This can happen if they are educated. The first step to the solution of the presented article is to get the educated leader who unstands our history. Educated president will attract academics that would be deployed to show their fruitful knowledge at different positions. Most of academics compete with knowledge not with wealth. Zuma is our drawback in our country

Secretary said; "Most of academics compete with knowledge not with wealth. "

And there is the problem there, wealth and power is at the center of government, and so tends to attract criminals more than academics or philanthropists.

The problem is that the longer a party is in power, the more the scum tends to float to the top. When that can't be changed, one is effectively trapped in a single party state. That is why in healthy democracies ruling parties change frequently, going back to the sidelines to rethink strategy is not a bad thing.

So although there are definitely very good people in government (yay Thuli!) who is every bit as frustrated as I am with the situation, it seems that a great deal of those the real positions of power 'got each other's backs', and I'm bet that even if our president is changed, we'll still see dodgy deals going on.

Just how long has it been since the arms deal? What came from it?

Hypothetically speaking, I'm not sure another party could even turn this particular situation around. How exactly does one go about reversing cadre deployment? Tests? What if the demographic this yields turns out to be politically uncomfortable? Tests with Quotas?

That starts getting awfully close to Tests with Tjommies again. This policy has brought real problems.

Take the prospective employees you are trying to place and put them in a room with only a table and two chairs. Leave them alone for two hours, without any instruction. At the end of that time, go back and see what they are doing.
If they have taken the table apart in that time, put them in Engineering.
If they are counting the butts in the ashtray, assign them to Finance.
If they are screaming and waving their arms, send them off to Manufacturing.
If they are talking to the chairs, Personnel is a good spot for them.
If they are writing up the experience, send them to Tech Pubs.
If they don't even look up when you enter the room, assign them to Security.
If they try to tell you it's not as bad as it looks, send them to Marketing.
If they've left early, put them in Sales.
And if they're all bullying each other, they're Management (cadre) material. If ANC can follow this procedure we will never get it wrong!!Cadreship material will never take us anywhere!!!

Sadly while we all bickering like this our country will get completely destroyed by sheer incompetence, greed and a total indifferent of you/us the general public.

This is where voting using your mind really works. If we let this go on any longer we will end up like the countries dotted all over Africa. Then, then it won’t be funny any more

To HSRC

Your report is welcomed , however could you please provide us with feedback how the intelects not cadre deployment have advance the programme of transformation in the private sector, more in particular AA at senior management level , Nedbank,PnPay, Old Mutual, Sasol etc .

I find it very strange that bla.ck intellects have become so blind to quickly point fingers at politicians yet they have failed us.

Thank you

SA doesn't have the pool of qualified people to draw from and until black south africans realise that they are lacking way behind their african brothers and sisters in terms of education, the problem will persist. when they see a black african foreigner in SA, they immediately conclude s/he is a sponger or makwerekwere who is coming to reap from the country. this country needs these black brothers and sisters to help build it. wake up and embrace your fellow blacks or you will continue in your servitude to whites.
