When the ANC came to power I always had respect for the WAY in which they conducted themselves. They issued one media statement on a topic and stood by it. Even if it was controversial e.g. HIV aids/ garlic/beetroot and one disagreed. However, one person spoke and then there was silence in the ranks. It was dignified. These days it is a soap opera of note as individuals jockey for position and the umfaan mocks the Big Man blatantly without regret. If Limpompo had a local political party then the ANC would not get that much percentage. KZN has IFP, EC has UDM n COPE, FS has Freedom Front and DA, WC had ID and have DA and so on.
That is why Limpompo and Mpumalanga are the strong holds of the ANC because there is no competition in those provinces.

Malema is not one of my favourite, but he will continue to address full capacity halls and stadiums filled with unemployed youth who are angry at the current government. Service delivery has been poor and Malema will take advantage of that. He went to the Vhembe district to address a hall full of the angry youth and the results of that where seen as Zuma was supposed to deliver a lecturer. Now are in the Free State and continuing to bad mouth the current leaders. As long as Malema keeps on addressing full capacity venues, then the ANC must be worried, especially Zuma. When the ANC came to power I always had respect for the WAY in which they conducted themselves. They issued one media statement on a topic and stood by it. Even if it was controversial e.g. HIV aids/ garlic/beetroot and one disagreed. However, one person spoke and then there was silence in the ranks. It was dignified. These days it is a soap opera of note as individuals jockey for position and the umfaan mocks the Big Man blatantly without regret. The whole country is standing still in anticipation for Mangaung and nobody lifts a finger. I guess everything has its sell by date. A sad state of affairs.Report Abuse

No need for that. As much as Limpopo maybe also a strong hold of ANC and KZN is the historical home of ANC we do not have to involve all dynamics lead to that. We must try to avoid discussions that will fuel tribalism in our country. At the end of the day, Zuma and Malema are only fighting for their own interest, most of them we don't know about. BiPolarIf Limpompo had a local political party then the ANC would not get that much percentage. KZN has IFP, EC has UDM n COPE, FS has Freedom Front and DA, WC had ID and have DA and so on.
That is why Limpompo and Mpumalanga are the strong holds of the ANC because there is no competition in those provinces.
Besides, the fact will remain that Zulus formed the ANC and Malema can not use tribalism to defend his views, we are not dumbb.

Malema is not one of my favourite, but he will continue to address full capacity halls and stadiums filled with unemployed youth who are angry at the current government. Service delivery has been poor and Malema will take advantage of that. He went to the Vhembe district to address a hall full of the angry youth and the results of that where seen as Zuma was supposed to deliver a lecturer. Now are in the Free State and continuing to bad mouth the current leaders. As long as Malema keeps on addressing full capacity venues, then the ANC must be worried, especially Zuma. After Mangaung there will be a new cope coming out of the ANC and Sexwale will lead and Bheki Cele will be deputy.Report Abuse

My worry here is us the ordinary people. you know our grandparents used to tell us that when two bulls fight, its only the grass that will suffer. For now what all this people are doing is focusing on Mangaung forgetting about service delivery, come elections we elect who ever wins same old story happens up until we are like ZIM.
