A man was killed on when his broken-down car was hit by an out-of-control truck on the M2 near the Cleveland off-ramp in Johannesburg, paramedics said.
It appeared the man's car was stationary in the emergency lane when the truck slammed into it, Netcare 911 spokesman Jeffrey Wicks said.
"The truck laid waste to the car, passing over the vehicle before it overturned."
The man was declared dead on the scene by paramedics. Police are investigating.

Very sad indeed...It's pitty I always pass people on highways some of them stopping on yellow lines for things that don't involve car breakages or 6/9. Considering the speed with which passing cars are moving there, one should not be ignorant about the dangers thereof unless one has no choice but to make a stop, its as risky as drivers who make u-turns on highways or overtake at curves...
