A man was stabbed in an alleged lover’s feud in Soweto in Johannesburg, police said on Tuesday.
Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela said the victim suffered serious injuries after being stabbed with a broken bottle.
“It’s alleged the attacker came to his girlfriend’s home on Monday night and found her with another man.
“An argument broke out between the two men and he stabbed the alleged lover in the face.”
The attacker was arrested. He would face charges of assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm, in the Protea Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.
