I think the Dealership have some explaining to do, refund you, or help you get your car back. . . . .How did it get to their hands on the first place.

That is why I think 13 times before buying a used vehicle. The other day I actually thought 3 time and decided against it. I feel sorry for people who end up with stolen vehicles due to no fault of their own. Not all of us can afford an AA check before buying a used vehicle but it does help avoid morass like this one. There are a lot of use car dealerships with vehicles of dubious origin on their shop floor. As we say where I come from: 'she is a harlot with the trustworthiness of a used car sales man.'

You buy a car in Soweto from anyone than you must know that you're buying a stolen thing.

The vehicle's licence disc has been renewed at least 12 times since 1999 and has even changed ownership with no problem.

It was time for this vehicle to rest now

@all
Not only 2nd hand cars have a problem. News ones do as well and the dealerships wont own up to it. Trust me, I worked with honda,bmw, barons, toyota, audi, mercedes, general motors and many more. The best in terms of car service and customer service is sabaru. There are many ways for dealerships to get money out of customers.
Also I dont know if you guys have heard about how some hijackers work with dealerships.

How did the car change it's registration after being stolen the first time? Invetigation must start with metro police.
