THE parents of a 17-month-old baby boy who was admitted to hospital after allegedly consuming brake fluid for the second time this year will make a statement to Uitenhage police today.
Why did they bring this child on earth in the 1st place? Report Abuse

This must be a case of parenting gone toxic. If the incident was an accident the parents must be one set of rotten mom and dead. How can any human being in their right frame of mind think of feeding brake fluid to a toddler, let alone any human being? Some people need to be sentenced to death by incineration. Actualy, I would have allerted social workers when the first case happened. Report Abuse

Drank brake fluid, twice........... it is not even a household detergent where you can assume it was an accident.
How many times should an accident occur? Report Abuse

Children are smart. My son has not met a child lock that he can't defeat (an d he's been defeating them for over 2 years at this point) He's gotten into the garage, out of windows, and atop the refrigerator. And that's a 4 year old autistic child with no speech or communication skills... imagine what a 'normal' kid can do. Don't condemn the parents just yet... I know people do awful things to their kids every day, but really, kids are smart, sneaky, and fast, and will eat/drink all manner of terrible things. Face it, every mom will tell horror stories of the terrible things that their kids did that almost got them killed. Lets hope that this is the case, that the parents have rectified the weak points in security surrounding toxic chemicals.
On the other hand, if it's found that they DID feed their child brake fluid on purpose, I propose they get force fed non-lethal doses of the stuff so that they can be sick as hell until they WANT to die, then feed them some more. Report Abuse
