No money should be given to this man, no king is Government, Zwaziland need a democradically elected President, not a king. He must make way for a President. Even if he can give our President 100 girls it is fine, dont give him money to abuse other people.

It's a pity that when he gets this loan it will go staright to his coffers and not the needy. I still have that picture of a woman who has breast cancer and can only have treatment here in South Africa. Swaziland might s well be under South Africa cause patients who have life threatning conditions or who have to do major medical procedures must come here for their procedures or treatments.

There is unfortunately no disclosure of 'terms and conditions' attached to this loan for one to be certain that the loan money will not go towards personal excesses of King Mswati. In principle it would be to South Africa's disadvantage for Swaziland's economy to collapse because South africa withheld the loan.

However, the loan was not immediately signed by Swaziland because of its objections to Pretoria’s imposition of conditions relating to political and economic reforms in the southern African kingdom, where political parties are banned.
========================================================================

The ruling party has relationships of this nature with non democratic countries where in political parties are banned???? And they are not dictators?????

I can see South Africa is very rich these days. We constantly give away freebies. Not so long ago we donated $2 Billion to Europe.

Government must know that we need some of this money. I can't blame unions if they demand 10% salary increase. This country is filthy rich.

I think there is enough money in this country to pay for things e-tolls and to give decent salaries increases to teachers and other government employees.

How rich exactly is South Africa? How many Trillions? Anyone with exact figure? I can see there is a lot of money though....

I hope those people who has been criticising the ANC government take note that there was no money given to Swaziland. People have been busy criticising the government about the money given to Swaziland which the government did not do. The money in the form of loan will be given to Swaziland only if they agree to democratic conditions and agree to pay interest. This means that South Africa will be investing that money as it has just happen with the IMF. People must understand socioeconomical issues affecting the SADC region before they can criticise. Thanks.

Now the Minister of Public service say there is no money to give the public servant money while on the other side they want to give that guy the money? Give it to Publice servant, build schools, renovate the roads @ rural areas, build libraries, educate the poor black children who cannot afford universities the list is endless. He must sell that aeroplane jet or borrow from his friend who bought him aeroplane jet that cost billions. It was in the news not long ago now he came and want money from us.

I think South Africa should give Swaziland the R2.5bn.The so called king should pocket R2 bn for himself and his wives and give the R500 million to be shared among the state.This should happen until the st.upid people of Swaziland wake up.What are they waiting for before they could topple this dictator?I say to this people they must wake up now,wake up and smell the coffie.Nxa I am tired of talking about issues of Swaziland.
