Thabo Mbeki has always argued that ARV's cannot be the only way to go in addressing the HIV-AIDS pandemic. He argued that other traditional medicines coupled with good diet should also be promoted to assit in the figt against HIV-AIDS.He also warned us about the dangerious side effects of the anti-retroviral. He argued for the combination of a whole lot of different approaches to fight HIV-AIDS.....and he was called a denialist..... I wish this lady a speedy recovery.

@Ann
Could you please leave sowetan alone. I like the coffee color of that lady in the picture. That is actually my taste. I do not have a problem with the breast grown down to knees,that will actually give me more positions.However I get worried if the nature of medication we trust so much in Mzanzi is the one which causes this.

@Flemza
Wake-up. Men use condoms and are circumcise. If you like to fool around without condom do not thing everybody is like that. That sense of discrimination from you is uncalled-for and naive. We sleep with HIV positive ladies every weekend, but we do not get infected because of awareness and respect with give to other people regardless of her illness.

Come on now Flemza, thats beeing shallow. If they go around wipping it out without protection, maybe they deserve to be in danger.

Anyway, this MEC is just playing PR, she didnt care about the woman and now acts all concerned.

@ApelMankotsana

good reminder, it is always good to be independent minded in thinking. we are a consumer society that have refused to think and also have refused to appreciate those that bother to think . Well done Thabo for thinking.

SPOT ON ApelMankotsana!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.politicians are chameleons,when it suits them they take a different approach to facts,shame to those who supported the campaign to make Mbeki look horrible on this one.some people get fat or develop blemishes/black patches on the noses due to ARV intake and manymore,may be if a report was to be made,actually many still can't cope with the after effects or ARV intake
