Let me first thank you for your innovativeness, creativity and your latest state-of-the-art approach to defy the conventional. I mean, it is really ground-breaking, the world over to appoint a teacher to lead a team of doctor. A teacher does not know how to handle a spatula but he leads those who can. My President, you have just appointed a social worker, a business executive to lead a police force. You must be a genious my president. The world must be looking at you with envy. You are so innovative. You are creative. This is the first in the world. This deseve to be recorded in the Guiness Book of Records.

But my President your decisions sometimes are very much questionable. Despite my above accolades, it does not need a rocket scientist to see that you are wrong. Even a kid who is doing Grade R will tell you this is not right. The position of a police commisioner is not support to be a political appointment my Chief. This is a technocratic position, meaning w need someone with technical, beuracratic and administrative skills. We dont need business skills here.

Hope you find the above in order and also hope your decision today will bear fruits in December in Bloemfontein

It's disappointing....the woman is a good candidate for CEO of a state owned enterprise than a Police General. We have well qualified and experienced senior police officers for the job. Police officers with university degrees and on the ground street policing experience as well as police administrative experience. This woman has no experince besides that of being a Zuma pal and protector of Zuma's interests. I give up on the ANC.

Most of the positions mentioned in the article are cadre deployee positions in parastatals.

This was a bad move Umsholozi.....shortly she will need to be reshuffled.

Mkhwananzi was the right person.....a very good special forces candidate, disciplined and respected and most of all....he is young. Please stop deploying all these recylced old people who insult us with their incompetence. Look at Fikile in the Sports Portfolio..how this has reformed the thinking and enthusiasm around sport in our country after the stupid Stofile's and Thwethe's!!!

if you just stop for a minute and think about the police service - compare that to apartheid police...you realise that the problem with police isnt numbers nor resources (physical for that matter) but of lack of intelligence in the police service. Whats the difference between SAPS and ADT? they all just do patrols ...... they patrol around the same criminals and even get a greeting...just sit in a street-corner or ask your gardener to share stuff that happens particularly around those traffic lights with people seeking work - shocking...Like you even have illegal immigrants selling drugs on that busy corner down the road (security guards will never catch them)....isnt it funny how apartheid govt used to catch criminals or anyone against the law quickly...why? cause you will never know who is the cop at all time, the person standing next to you could be an under-cover cop....well under-cover cops now have to arrest people who paints JZ's mtondo - something that is known by a lot of women already

Ndosi's crime fighting work was felt on our STREETS! It is just so sad that he is now sacked coz for once that was where JZ was getting it better than Mbeki - effective crime fighting and prevention -.

Once again there are people who are still sitting cushy in their jobs next to the President and have been investigated and alleged of wrong doings but uMsholozi does zilch about them - such inconsistencies make a mockery of his decision making abilities and skills.

Nothing makes common sense in South Africa for real.
