Family ask for help to bury slain daughter

A DESTITUTE family in Philippi, near Cape Town, is pleading with any Good Samaritan to help them bury their daughter who was gunned down by a man allegedly known to her on Saturday night.

Ondela Mvula, 18, of the Kosovo informal settlement in Samora Machel, died on her birthday.

Her attacker was also allegedly shot dead by the police during an exchange of gunfire as he left a house with another girlfriend on Sunday morning.

Ondela's aunt, Nomahlubi Mvula, yesterday appealed to the community for help to bury her.

"We appeal to anyone out there to help us to bury our daughter. No one in our family is employed

"We are looking for any kind of help. It does not necessarily have to be cash," she said.

How batho bosesi you look very nice, even your hair styles, you don't look like you are unemployed.

The money you are using to go for the hairdressers is the money you were suppose to pay society.

Lets hope you will get help.

the little money you get u can either pay mutuary or society. most of mutuary you can pay as little as R30.00 per month. Similar as you budget for the hairdresser.
