Abortion is a sin , so is fornication.
The wages of sin is death.

We must not judge these kids since we are letting them down. Sowetan carried a report a few weeks ago which showed that it is adults who are preying on these kids. Imagine that dum b parent asking the doctor "why did you ki ll my kid". She should have tried to guide her kid through this mess of a society we have here.

Its called "Termination of pregnancy" and it is also covered by Medical Aid, it is done in All Registered Hospital. The sooner we de-tach the Stigma attached to this the sooner we'll have few deaths and such other incidences. I absolutely support anyone who wants to make that decision--Its their life after all

"many of them performed on children as young as 12."

So why have the men who made them pregnant been arrested?

It is past time that children become children again. This nonsense where they have more 'rights' than their parents do is not working. They are children and WE are the adults. That means that this is the fault of every single adult in the country. It really does take a village to raise a child and it is time we went back to doing that

"One girl was 12 when she started having sex. Her mother put her on contraceptives. When I talked to her she said that it was for airtime and for a relaxant cream for her hair."

Nonsense this. Doesn't make sense. I don't think this article is real cos in SA chicks dig pumping out babies. Big poor families is tradition

this happens all over the country not only in EC and true they are not scared of HIV and can now live healthy lives with HIV, anyways all they watch on tv and read on news papers is sex related issues and curious as they are what do we expect. Unfortunately the care of this children is at the expense of limited resources in the name of tax payers, it is fast becoming a curse to be a tax payer in SA.

Its a sad sad situation, what will the next generation be like? I have a 3 yr old daughter and Im trying to give her a good foundation, young as she is. Let us arm our children from childhood with morals and values so that when they go out into the world they would always be shielded from the evils that are happening. God help us all

@SeshegoGuY

its actually sad to think & know that certain medical aid schemes approve such procedures. Personally, aborti0ns is k!ll!ng an inn0cent l!fe, and for me that is taking the easy r0ute and being a cow@rd.....it should not be allowed at all......and most of these are done cos woman are being r@ped.....and that my friend is another debate on its own.

I'm sure there are a lot of bloggers here who started having sex arround that age and some of them had kids @ 16.... abortion should be allowed only to people who were raped.. but then again it's their bodies then can do whatever they want..

I'm not sure what type of degenerate household you were subjected to but I didn't even consider the idea of sex at the age of 12 !! I was 25 when I fell pregnant. But then again, I was brought up by responsible parents

Gore

As long as celebrities gain more celebrity by announcing they aborted babies this will be seen as a normal and good thing by kids and families. When #joellekayembe sprite zero model aborted her new husbands baby and he threw her out. The world hated the guy. Instead she was showered with compliments about how good she looks in underwear when the guy was labelled an abuser. Sad and true. This Joelle Kayembe girl went on to get bigger press coverage and she is today a real celeb in south Africa. Just because she aborted a baby in late term. Even last week she still milks the story five years later, she was on Heat magazine and talking about being abused and saying she stuffed a pillow and she wasn't far on her pregnancy. What a sick sick little twit. Abortion is murder.

Joelle Kayembe is the face of abortion model. She promotes this sickness in our communities. That's the price we pay for giving her shelter in our country as a born congolese

Very tragic. Men please let's respect out women and be responsible for our actions.

Does anyone know the full history of why and how Mandela and his government legalized abortion soon after he became President?
