This shows how flawed this electoral system is. Only a handful of ANC supporters or fools get to choose a corrupt representative to lead more than a million people. This is wrong.496 people decided for more than a milliion people. Viva democracy.

Let us congratulate Comrade Block for winning the elections, well that means the majority of ANC faithfuls support Block as the Chairperson of the ANC in Northern Cape. That means Comrade Zuma must deal with that as he does not support Comrade Block. The Commander in Chief is in trouble especially if Comrade Block can collude with Comrade Mathale from Limpopo and Comrade Faku from Eastern Cape the race for Mangaung might be hopeless for the Commander in Chief. This means that in order for the Commander in Chief to have a smooth road to Managung he must now strictly win Free State and Eastern Cape if he fail to win both at list Eastern Cape as one of the Province with a bigger margin of delegates will have to be secured for him as Gauteng cannot be trusted. If he fails to secure Gauteng which I think he will loose as we know that Mashatile does not like him and can do what ever to oust him, than the Commander in Chief will be dead before he can even get to Mangaung which means what Comrade Tokyo is doing at the moment is not comedy but reality. I smell a rat especially when I feel one, it seems like somebody might be in trouble but ANC is there to judge, that is why I never worship an individual in the ANC. Comrade Block wants to be the Premier and want his charges to be dropped as such he might collude with any one who is prepared to save his blood and help him realize his dream of becoming the Premier somethings which the Commander in Chief does not like. As a staunch supporter of ANC not an individual I say Viva John Block Viva you have been elected by many ANC faithfuls just like Comrade Zuma in Polokwane as such my congratulations are in order my Chief! Alluta Continua Viva ANC Viva!!

@SteveBiko

Only problem is the ANC perverts the justice system to suit its cadres. Look at Zuma. He is the prime example of how to corrupt the justice system and escape trial. Now this may be great if you support corruption and are part of the ANC's gravy train, but when the tables turn, and by all accounts the gravy is running low in SA, then this support for corruption will come back to bite you and your children and their children. You see, the ANC operates outside the laws of sustainable human development and morality and will crash in time.

When the ordinary man in the street (no offence meant with the use of "ordinary") says its "good news" for a suspected fraudster to get re-elected then you know the end if nearer than you think. Malema might come back but that will only hasten the demise of the ANC or lead to the rapid social and economic ruin of SA. If you support the ANC you're trapped in a catch 22 situation and you probably don't even know it.

Godfrey Oliphant campaigned on the basis that he is going to support Jacob Zuma in Mangaung and as result got 33 votes out over 500 votes. Many thanks to the ANC Youth League that campained for the retention of the current leadership. As for charges levelled against Block, he is innocent until proven guilty and unlike Jacob Zuma Cde Block is going to have his day in court and lay all these allegations to rest.I hope the comrades in KZN can see what they have unleashed by campaigning arrogantly along tribal lines. I am pretty sure that the Eastern Cape, Western Cape, North-West, Limpopo, Freistata, Gauteng and Northern Cape are overhwelmingly going to vote for Kgalema Motlanthe and put all those arrogant tribalists in KZN to shame. Tony Yengeni should introduce a political education course, immediately after Mangaung, and that course should start in KZN. All members of the ANC should be required to say publicly that they will not "support tribalism or racism" and strive for the unity of all South Africans regardless of race, colour or tribe.

We are inviting rape of the country by the ANC by tolerating such unbelievable behaviour. Again - In a democracy we deserve the government we get.

It is going to be interesting as to what will happen to the other Amigos trialist in KZN.

It will be also interesting as to whether the KZN province is as united as it is purportedly being reported.

How the ANC of the old and of Oom Gov, OR, Albert Luthuli, Mandela has changed (crying) to a tribalist, uncaring, visionless, corrupt, personality party. Sooner than later the ANC will feel its actions in the polls.
