I advise our students were is possible to study towards careers which are on the market at the moment. It is very important to specialized on key scarce areas of Private sector, such as IT, Engineering, Research, Physics(drug production) because Government is run by Mafias who employ relatives and friends even in areas which are absolutely impossible for them to perform for the sake of enabling them to get a salary. That does not have any impact on Government because they are not profit based. Rather market yourself towards Private sector with the necessary skills and specialized scarce areas, graduates will never spend three months without working. Please stop depending on Government handouts, they have got owners in family, girlfriends, friends and most of all ANC connected comrades. I have a proof of that as I am a very top Government employee and I see everything which is happening, it is very sad for the masses out there. Let us reveal to students in Universities that BA, Law and other degrees which most of their graduates are loitering on the street are saturated and studying towards those if you have no legal firm or brothers company to work for is a complete suicidal and waist of money and resources.

Laatie go and look for a job outside government, I went through the same thing when I completed at the technikon fortunately I studied engineering and it has been 14 yrs and no one has sued me because I told them our contract was null and void because they failed to fulfill their obligation. I told them I will resign from wherever Im employed if they have a position for me and upto this day Im still waiting. I only gave them 6months and within a year I was employed till now! You can leave your details i will call you and give you the full story. Goodluck boy!

Dental technicians and Dental therapists are not Doctors. And, obviously a dental technician and a dental therapist are not the same. Dental technicians play a supporting role to dentist and dental therapists...

I suspect he is not in a position to start a practice... because of funding and experience. Rather he look for a job elsewhere (preferably outside EC) and don't forget to write a letter to the province telling them of their contractual breach. Always insist on written communication and keep those SMS's. You can even take them to court via the Legal Aid unit at a local university....

Dentists are not MEDICAL OFFICERS but are referred to as "doctors" guys.....doesn't mean they are M O's with MBChB they are given the same courtesy "Dr" for having gone through some medical training but mainly focusing on oral cavity and oro-facial structures so in that "dept" they are doctors.

@EMJay_001 - experience maybe an issue but funding no - bank actually have special funding models for start-up like the one he can open particularly in buying the medical equipment - hey some products are even built to help with cashflow......I think this guy hasnt done homework for himself but looking for easy way out...hell, my first job wasnt with the company who sponsored my studies (you can have a buy-out easily) and as for him - they are not chasing him for their money - so whats the problem

but actually with Zoology you can - well besides Zoology and Botany being big words......Zoology and MBCHB are not far apart----actually you can do an undergrad in the former and transfer to the latter (with alot of credits)...as for Botany, it is still biological science - just plants....you can start your herb farm - you need it - it opens mind
