ANGRY residents of Mountain View in Giyani yesterday gave the Mopani district municipality three days to provide water to them or "they would make the municipality ungovernable".
In a memorandum to Mopani district mayor Joshua Matlou yesterday, t he protesters, most whom were women, said water tankers should stop supplying them with "contaminated water".
"Since we have toilets in our houses, we face health hazards because of a lack of running water," said the memorandum.
Receiving the memorandum was Gladys Manganyi, who said: "The only water we can provide now is borehole water, which you say you do not want, and the other part of your demands will be tackled by the mayor on his return."
