THE Western Cape department of health has signed an agreement with four Cape Town universities in a bid to facilitate co-operation between the provincial government and the institutions.
The agreement, which involved UCT, UWC, CPUT and Stellenbosch, was signed yesterday.
Health MEC Theuns Botha said: "The agreement is of national significance because the health services are where national health and higher education must work together.
"It is the bridge toward this essential cooperation."
