Shame the guy looked desperate in that press conference, I even felt sorry for him NOT.
If Malema was not such an idio.t he would have known when he had pushed the leadership too far so he could back-off but no, in true Malema style he wanted to force the issue. He gets expelled from a party and he is camped at the door demanding to be let back in. Obviously he is now praying for a miracle but chances of Sexwale winning the presidency are as remote as me winning R 5bn in the US lottery, possible but highly improbable. Chances of the ANC rescinding his expulsion are as likely as me waking up to find aliens have moved in next door.
Yes Malema can become the president of the ANC but that would be in the Land of Malema in Wonderland, I suppose we all have a right to dream however absurd the dream is.

You are raising an interesting argument but remember unlike the PAC which was formed because of policy disagreements with the ANC. COPE was formed because of a group not wanting to work with the new leadership because they lost at the Polokwane Conference they resigned and formed COPE.
As for JUJU unfortunatley he will not make your life fine by adding to his hypocratic tendencies in forming his own party.
So both times it was because of division due to different interests, we can only hope juliarse does this as well, the problem is he knows he won't be part of the tenders then. Report Abuse

Maybe because you refuse to understand reason and logic.
Trust me, if you don't get it by now you never will. Any right thinking person can figure out on their own why Juju just needs to go, if you still convincing at this stage after all the info has been made public then perhaps the problem lies with you.
If you are fooled by this self-serving economic freedom fighter stunt then perhaps you've gone past the point of no return.
Malema and your cronies also put this in record so that when it happens you will say some members of the ANC told me. YOU WILL NEVER LEAD THE AFRICAN NATIONAL CONGRESS. You all pretend to love the ANC because you know now that without ANC you are nothing. Let me remind you boys what worries you most. From now on, you know that you will never be where you used to be ito political status. No other political party will ever embrace you, even DA. No company will ever employ you knowing your history of ill discipline. Let me predict what is likely to happen for Malema in the next coming two years. There are people who actully believe that this guy has the interests of the poor at heart - how blind can we be. The man has potential as a leader, but he needs to change radically - be more humble, think for the poor of this country, sherd his dictorship strick, deal with his greed and over consumption. I beg to differ with most of your assumptions. Apartheid prevented most of us from studying science related professions at tertiary level and controlled how many bl@cks pass matric at the end of the year. We cannot say people think like that because of the apartheid mentality. Some of us have given up raising our voices with the current regime because you run the risk of being labelled a DA member, counter revolutionary, hence the rot.
I want to repeat what I said before. Malema is a monster, factory fault, that is arrogant, clueless about politics, always shooting from the hip and during our time people like him were referred to as stone throwers or siyayinyova, period. He is a perfect epitome of what the ANC in the 21 st century has become and unfortunately, some of us cannot embrace mediocrity, where the movement have produced heroes in our lifetime. Report Abuse

I cant believe what you said about Malema...Forget apartheid for now... The fact that you dont agree on the way malema approach some of the issues that does nt mean what he is saying is wrong...
It is true that for the first time in the History of the ANC someone being charged to articulate the resolution taken by the congress...Very scray and ppl choose not to speak to that. Instead they defiate to the whole DC charges which in a true sense of things the ANC should have corrected this without putting charges.
It is also true that the ANC under the leadership of JZ has choosen to fight the ANCYL rather than mentoring them... It is also true that the ANC in number of cases refuse to meet the ANCYL...Thats when the whole fustration came about. You can choose to call him all sort of names at the end of the day SA is talking to what he said and they will even though he is no longer there thats very important.
We dont need the ANC in this 21st century which suppress ideas...We dont have someone in the ANC today to shape the politics of today...Thats why we have Malema taking the space which is not bad... Put model/someone who can play the role of Malema then we will talk... Report Abuse

But he mentored him... Malema said most of your examples right infront of JZ he never bother to challenge what he said....Kgalema put descipline in one of the rally in Limpopo without fear or favour. So you have a leader who embrace what you are saying when it suit him...Thats is the leader which we dont want in the 21st century..
Cmd nothing worry with what you said...In the ANC we always have ppl who fight each other...This goes back to the formation of the PAC,UDM,COPE etc...But Malema as many suggested he choose to fight the battle within not out of the ANC otherwise its cold out there...This is democracy the ANC should accommodate as they preach not fire when we differ Report Abuse

I blame the ANC, as a collective for the rot. Malema was on record saying we are prepared to d!e for Zuma. What has changed that he is now a dictator? I want to say the rot began in Polokwane, not because Zuma emerged as the overall winner, but the behavior of some of the delegates was disgusting and unbecoming to say the least. Mangaung followed suit when Julius was elected, a carbon copy of what transpired in Polokwane in terms of chaos.
Moving forward, I think the ANCYL has a role to play but at the moment, I think that it is not addressing the challenges of our youth in the 21st century. It has put itself in a tight corner of determining who leads the ANC and it is difficult to get out as it is a full time soap opera.
I also think that it needs to be clarified that the ANCYL is not an alliance partner of the ANC, but its youth wing. Why do you think that during Mr Mbeki's tenure, the was no confusion of mandates? Its simple, baba, sometimes one does not have to mix business with pleasure.
I am not sure if you did follow what the ANCYL has done immediately after the Gallagah conference...Let me remind you they did call a press conference and articulate on resolution taken i am not suer if this practics sound outdated but that is what is happening currently in SA.
When you address youth you dont need to sound like a model C kind of a person actually youth dont need model C kind of a leader. They need someone energetic, robust, critical, militant kind of a person.

Thanks for the compliment but I do not believe our youth is a lost course. I was born in the early 70 and I know that, we were classified as a lost generation. I think that our youth are tired of the soap opera sorry politics in general. They have new challenges and some have made wrong choices, hence they are languishing in our prisons.
I think we need to drill it and drum it into their minds that education is paramount. Also, we are communicating a wrong message, if we are not employing them as some posts are reserved for the politically connected or there are jobs for pals. We need to empower our youth as they are our future leaders. They also need to ensure that the ANCYL remains relevant to their challenges.

He gets expelled from a party and he is camped at the door demanding to be let back in. Obviously he is now praying for a miracle but chances of Sexwale winning the presidency are as remote as me winning R 5bn in the US lottery, possible but highly improbable. Chances of the ANC rescinding his expulsion are as likely as me waking up to find aliens have moved in next door.

i agree with you that he never mentioned any position, he doesn't need to do so. My point is he needs to be in "a position" in order to lead the ANC (that's in future). He's able to lead the ANCYL (now) because the league does not support his removal from "a position" that he held.

I not sure if it is blind loyalty or what? Why are people failing to see Malema for who he is, greedy, sefish, self centred, dictator in the making. There are people who actully believe that this guy has the interests of the poor at heart - how blind can we be. The man has potential as a leader, but he needs to change radically - be more humble, think for the poor of this country, sherd his dictorship strick, deal with his greed and over consumption. A true leader will take seriously the comments that people make about him/her. Clearly the man is gifted as a leader, but some of his personal traits mentioned above make him unsuitable as a leader. He is strong decisive and willing to lead even in difficult circumstances, but his greed and dictorship tendencies compromise him.Report Abuse

Makhosini0408I cant believe what you said about Malema...Forget apartheid for now...

If we regress and look at the history of Peter Mokaba. He was robust but not arrogant and I tell you Tata showed him, who the boss was. Why was the deafening silence when Malema was castigating and lambasting other comrades and opposition leaders? We can start with Mr Mbeki, Ms Zille, Ms Pandor, Chief Buthelezi the least is endless
He is saying what people want to hear, because he knew that he was in trouble and he was trying to win the support of the masses.

He never enjoyed or appreciate his behaviour frm the start..
Cmd nothing worry with what you said...In the ANC we always have ppl who fight each other...This goes back to the formation of the PAC,UDM,COPE etc...But Malema as many suggested he choose to fight the battle within not out of the ANC otherwise its cold out there...This is democracy the ANC should accommodate as they preach not fire when we differ

@SharpinoI blame the ANC, as a collective for the rot.
