The fact that KZN do have more members for ANC compared to other provinces doesn't mean that it examplerary. It doesn't mean that others will be looking for guidance to KZN. The only reason other provinces will look to KZN is to check how many delegates it has for Mangaung & who is nominated?

I think he is just patronising them. There only thing that KZN has raised so far when it comes to policy is decreasing numbers of NEC to 66. What is that compared what Gauteng has done under Makhura the Secretary of the Province. Zuma was playing populist card again.

The ANC is far more racist than the DA is. For one, we can have a look at the amount of racist outbursts from different ANC politicians the past year. Compare that to hellens (I assume thats why you call the DA racist). Or do you call it racist because its majority whit3s? On DA ruling our country, am not sure if they won't be worse than the current ANC. One thing is for sure, no white person anywhere in the world, takes the interest of anyone other than their own. This is a FACT!
So don't ever think that DA would suddenly care about the interests of the historically marginalized - (and forget for a second about the fact that the ANC isn't taking care of its own either).

@Bra007....You cannot trust Mosima Tokyo Sexwale. He is there to test the waters. The forces of change n the EC wanted him as the ANC President, but after some talks with the other group including the Youth league which made sure Faku wins the Mandela Bay region. Ask Andile Lungise...I see you're clueless about the Eastern Cape Stand. Remember Shower went to Peddie to give the farmers tractors...still people failed to change their minds to support him.

@ Sin, True Jacob will get a second term, but doubt he will finish it. So many things are happening under his leadership. I for one I am gatvol to be under the Guptas's spell. Thats why the voting dynamics in JHB are completely going to change in 2014. If you hear the debates from guys who works for JSE and the foreigners who studies at Harvard or London School of Economics you will be shoked. The debates will make one feel small to vote for the Current ANC leadership.

Have to call it a night unfortunately. But I agree with you JZ will get the second term but likely not to finish it, and by which time ANC's votes would pilferage.

Call it confuse as much as you want. Heard the contest in Free State is also going to hotly contested. Without the backing of Free State and the EC..will see wether he will make it. Anyway as Sin has put it..with bribery and all the corrupt means. He will definitely get the second term.

It was divided because of the blind support they had for Jacob. He was branded as the man who is intouch with the masses. But now the majority are going to vote otherwise. Don't panick he will get the second termm.

@Bra007

I had to respond cause i can see you are the worst idiot to comment on this article. Just like your illeterate JZ, KZN is not influential we are watching at the level at which you can explore your stupidity in elections and bring the country domn for the sake of tribalism. In case you dont know Limpopo has got people who are and still have been influential in the ANC politically and academicaly.( Ramaphosa, Dr Joe Phaahla, Dr Motswaledi, Advocate Ramahlodi, The first black governor of the reserve bank Tito Mboweni, ......including the same Malema who taught Zuma to use condoms not shower, but forgot to teach him how to adress the public. ,not rapists who showr later. Your JZ cant differentiate women empowerment and polygamy yet you think he can rule this country IN YOUR DREAMS.Thanks the government has introduced that people who are not in the country can vote, wait and see Zuma will never be a president again. The whole country despise him.

@Bra007
How does the Sowetan allow folks without brains like this man to come and spoil this Forum with his such stup and foolish and comments? He needs a bit of Steve Biko to enable him to think straight and have self-respect and self-esteem as a Black person. and human being. Otherwise he shames us all as humanity. Let us raise the level of debate and not descend to this kind of cesspool. A bit of banter here and ther should be in order but definitely not this hogwash.
