It is about time that we open a public debate and discource on race relations and race in South Africa. I agree with DeCock that we are too lenient on these White Afrikaans speaking conseravtive racists clots. When Julius Malema referred to a journalists as "bloody agent", he was labelled a racist and was hauled before courts by an Afrikaans speaking racist organisation called Afriforum and Black people kept quite......We must opne a public debate on this issue and declare racism a criminal offence.

First of all no race card was played, she was turned away because she is black: fact.

Then there is the little issue that the trials were held at a public school funded by the state therefore legally they cannot partake in or promote any activity that excludes a member of the public based on race, gender, etc. If they want to hold activity that are racially exclusive then they should find an open veld to hold their activities, no wait, that would still be in a public space.

As for Mr Ken Sinclair (student at CPUT) and his off the wire FB comments. Does anyone know the really story?? COULD it be that he is so fed up with the disruptions and niggling of white students at CPUT that he lost the plot.

CPUT is meant for learning and students (and their parents) are paying good money for them to attend and get educated, but certain (mainly black) student organizations (and students) are making it severly unpleasant to study there. Is it the current students (including Ken Sinclair) that they failed and now are demanding to be passed / want to re- do the year for free / etc /etc.

Before we bl ackss start throwing stones and over re-acting to these comments need some introspection.

Why is it that when any gathering or event is held in SA that everyone ALWAYS HAS to be invited?? Can no culture group do anything on their OWN sometimes without being linked to alterior motives??? If I have a party I do not have to ensure I have a coloured and indian and white and black guest on the list just to make sure SA is happy. WTF. Organise your own party and invite who you like dammit.
