A Cape Town priest stabbed in a robbery at his church at the weekend is still recovering in hospital today, Western Cape police say
Lt-Col Andre’ Traut said Constantia Catholic Church priest was attacked inside the building on Sunday night and robbed of cash by three men. IOL quoted the priest, Andrew Cox, as saying they took the church keys, his house keys and R3,500 of the church’s money.
He was stabbed in his leg and locked in a walk-in safe.
He was found at 8am the next day by an administrative worker.
No arrests had been made.

Churches must stop been money making schemes, if they want donation they must come up with better ways than asking people to contribute in the Church, so many churches have deacons who move around asking people to contribute money and if you contributes little, they dont take you serious. Just give members your bank account, they will deposit and forward their deposit slip for recon. Stop collecting money in the Church, is not safe.Report Abuse
