Maimane yesterday extended the invitation to talk to Dos Santos and colleague Thamana following their racist twitter rants recently.

The models caused an uproar at the weekend after they exchanged racist remarks on the social network.

Dos Santos's tweet read: "Just, well took on an arrogant and disrespectful k***** inside Spar. Should have punched him."

On Monday, Thamana responded on Twitter: "Dear Mr Peter Mokaba . I wish All White People were killed when you sang 'kill the boer' we wouldn't be experiencing @Jessica Leandra's racism right now**".

In response to Maimane's invitation, Dos Santos said: "At this moment I accept and acknowledge that I have brought this nation of ours to its knees. I now intend to mend my ways and ensure that I restore the trust of all South Africans."

She appealed to Thamana "to embrace this opportunity and walk this road jointly with me".

Thamana had not commented over the invitation by late yesterday.

Dos Santos has since lost several of her modelling contracts.

Reports that Thamana's modelling agency has also cancelled her contract could not be confirmed.

fu*ck the attention seekers..
no matter how angry u are, there are just some words u can never use, wether the person is your friend, sibling or what ever, because u cant take back what u said . So hopefully this will teach a lot of people a thing or two about how to deal with their anger.

This Jessica needs to take her invitation and forget about Tshidi, Tshidi is not a racist Jessica is. Even in a court of law, someone who kills in self defence gets acquited and Tshidi acted in defence of 'kaff!rs', she's no racist.

Bdoobs. With respect, the behaviour of BOTH was completely unacceptable. Responding to racism with racism is just not on. We are supposed to be ONE NATION with many shades and nuances, and that is the only way this derailed country will grow. SO both these "ladies" (and I use that word reluctantly) need a swift kick up the .......
