Please Sowetan why are you not reporting on Auditor General Terence Nombembe's latest remarks. "“Things are serious, and they are even more serious than we thought they are,” he said at the opening of Deloitte’s new building in Pretoria on Thursday" like the City Press is????
This is serious stuff. By not reporting on this are you saying that Sowetan is less serious about reporting than other newspapers and websites?? Report Abuse

The things going on in this country are really beyond a joke!
I think the Auditor General got it wrong - the situation in SA is not just dire, it is beyond belief! We are in a total state of anarchy.
And where is our leadership in all of this? Jolling up a storm, and giving "feel good" speeches.
But pri.son offic.ials are los.ing no sle.ep over Zu.lu's fre.ed.om.

I think the way things are going in SA, you actually APPLY to go to jail.
If you are down & out, you stay on STATE expenditure, Good Food, dieticians, good enterrtainment, etc.
No wonder Zuma must give discount to get the occupants (not convicts) out of there... I wonder how many accepted J Zeee's offer ???.... OBVIOUSLY free STATE accommodation is MUCH in DEMAND these days....
Jacob knows, once his honey pot dries up, he can apply as well....

This case further strengthens thecase for a fully free press. I would rather live with the mistakes the press commits by errorneous reporting than live with a regulated press. The list of contoversies is endless,
