i see it all the time. you see a range rover pulling off a pump and find that the guy had poured R70.00
one guy confessed that he is desperately selling his Range sport coz it was too much for him. times are tuff.

the price increse in fuel is world wide. our govt can help us be removing some of those riddiculous taxes, since they want to toll us any way. but the greedy fools will never do that. they wanna steal from the poor as much as possible.

FUNKFIED

"It has become difficult to do business with the petrol price always on the rise. We can no longer afford to pay our vehicle instalments and we do not get a subsidy from the government. We have become a charity organisation"

Is it me or there is everything wrong in this statement. First taxis do not pay any formal tax, 2nd you are excluded from paying tolls 3rd everyone knows you own the roads and taxi drivers apply their own rules on the road what subsidy do you want. Charity and taxi organisation are two opposite words.

.....................................................................................................
Remember that when increasing fares you also consider other related costs.Maintanance costs, toll fees for long distance taxis, spares parts etc.So its not only the petrol prices that they consider. Even if fuel prices drop, other prices that I've mentioned above might not.

I attended a funeral yesterday in Volsoo, as I was driving back to Germiston enjoyed driving the high way and started thinking that this pleasure was worth paying for (e-tolling). But when I got home, I got my paper and my thought about e-tolling just changed. Sunday Times published a story on who the beneficiaries from this e-tolling will be, amongst the names Valli Moosa, Popo Molefe and many other ANC people were listed. The ANC hyenas are now thinking of way to get our money direct from our pockets. Many of they companies have sub-contracts with this e-toll and they wanted this to be kept a secret

- let it rise bosomatekisi, azihambi ngomchamo ezinu imoto, but plz be fair when the petrol price goes down, you also take your tariffs down...

- i would really like to know, how taxi people come up with their increase tariffs......if example petrol price goes up 20cents....how do they then implement a tarrif hike, based on a 20cent petrol increase.
