Remember the man whom she was found with is actaully the one who reported that she is with the girl after Daily Sun published the photo of the girl. Investigations are vague for the prosecutor to hold the man behind bars but that does not mean he is aquited of any wrong doing. Justice systems sometimes they also protect themselves of any wrong doing by keeping people behind bars without sufficient information. Let the SAPS/CID do their job properly to submit the proof beyond reasonable doubt to the Justice. I am just disgusted at the delay.

Clearly our justice is failing us, How can you expect statement from a mentally ill person. I personally think this M. Mhaga must man up and make decisions like a freal man. Why did they not consult with othet elders and come up with a reasonable decision for this poor girl.

the is a lot to this story that i dont understand. In the first place someone who is mentally unfit should have records with doctors or local clinic so why
1. "Mhaga said a psychiatric report on the girl, which would determine her mental capacity, was still outstanding"
2. "He had been accused of holding the 17-year-old mentally disabled girl against her will at his house in Braamfischerville, Soweto." So why did he hand himself over to the police?
3. The mother that does not report a mentally unfit (Girl)child missing? Otlwaetse go oetsamaela motho o!

The fact of the matter this girl was found in his possession, so what more do you want?
