A MAN accused of being part of a human trafficking ring and running a brothel, where girls as young as 12 were kept, was denied bail in the Durban Magistrate's Court
Sandile Patrick Zweni said he should be granted bail because he needed to look after his children. Magistrate Anita Govender rejected his application.
Zweni and his co-accused - Nonduzo Dlamini, Bhabha Dubazini, Dr Genchen Ragnath and his wife Ravina - face charges of dealing in cocaine, human trafficking, running a brothel and living off the earnings of prostitution.
The case was remanded to May 24.

i reasonably ground believe that court has viewed certain circumstances if they grand bail to the person, but in other hand the person can appeal to high court which have jurisdiction.Report Abuse
