Agree 100 % Robin H and it is just typical of someone with no integrity to settle a case on that basis and then undo the apology immediately afterwards with a press statement in which he makes it clear that his apology was meaningless. Absolutely no shame or integrity.

@Papage, society at large benefits when a lesson is learnt that people should not insult each other. What kind of upbringing did Shivambu have to call the female reporter, who did not insult him, a w.hite b.itch ? People who have a poor upbringing, no manners, must be exposed and silenced.

3. You must be talking about w.hites born before 1960. The w.hites born in 1960 were in their mid twenties during the eighties and were the generation that shed apart.heid. These older generation people who introduced, and maintained apa.rtheid ( of course there were many exceptions) suffered from the same ignorance that was prevalent throughout the whole world from time immemorial, ( not only in SA) nl that a da.rk s.kin somehow marked a person as inferior. This idea was brought about partly due to the slower technological development in A.frica, but it was ignorant because it did not take into account common humanity, cultural differences, etc. Remember that the idea of human rights only developed in Europe and the US during early 20th century more or less. Bla.ck people were no better, remember the Mfec.ane w.ars during which the Zul.u nation slau.ghtered and chased other nations off their land ?

That is in the past - the people of this country made a pact in 1994 in order to move forward.There is no justiciation for gratuitously insulting a person simply because of the colour of that person's skin. The notion of economic freedom is just a mirage on a very bleek horizon with the ANC in power. These cretins confuse nationalisation with economic freedom, but, how if any, do the already nationalised mines (yes there are some) and other government owned organisations like Eskom, SAA and Denel benefit people on the street?

There will never be mass economic freedom. You can only have economic freedom as an individual and that takes (among other things) a mixture of an education, a work ethic and a moral ethic to achieve. Now compare the ANC's track record against its failed education delivery, its cadre deployment work ethic and its non-existant moral ethic with the biggest criminal at large heading for a second term in office.

You ANC supporters are like sheep. Stop following and start leading yourself to real economic freedom.

RobinH/Cornelius, the man has apologised & the journalist accepted, case closed why are you now looking for something out of nothing, this was the waste of the court`s time in the first place. Zille apologised for the refugee tweet but still made a follow up statement about the education in EC and how they have build so much schools in the WC, did I hear you question her integrity and upbrigging.

The first comment, Hulas is calling us "ANC chimpanzees", did I hear you calling him into order or question his upbrigging, for some of us who are not brain washed, we can see right through your
w h i t e supremacy agenda.

There is a new struggle ongoing at the moment, the judicial system is now working for certain groups against the other and I hope now the the Juju issue is out of the way the gov will look into it.
