Around 3,000 broiler chickens that formed part of a government upliftment project near Piet Retief in Mpumalanga had to be euthanased by the SPCA after they were left to starve to death
and why were the chickens not let out to gather food as nature intended? Report Abuse

Classic example of another failed upliftment project. blame it on greed, maladministration, selfishness, disorganization. Report Abuse

To the Project cordinators, if you did not have chicken feed even breadcrumb would have sufficed. To take failure to the next level Report Abuse

I am astounded!!! they should have let them out to gather food or sell them when the going got tough! At least someone could have been fed, or else some food could have been bought to feed ANY of the surviving chickens!
Pondering on why the hospital never placed another order??? Report Abuse

so let the cheacken run and eat all kinds of viral infected kak on the streets and then take those chickens and sell them to the public and hospital neh BaleliM? mass production requires certain standards to be met before your food can be sold to the general market(not black market) Report Abuse
