Child raped in school toilets

A Soweto teenager will appear in the Protea Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday for allegedly raping a 6-year-old girl at her school

Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela said the 17-year-old boy allegedly raped the girl in the bathroom of Busisiwe Primary School in Zola, Soweto, on Friday.

“When she went home the girl’s mother saw that her panties were full of blood. On Monday the mother went to clinic to confirm that the girl was raped. She then laid a charge against the boy, and we went to arrest him.” 

The teenager would face the rape charge as a minor, police said.

My goodness...what kind of men our society is raising - why did the mother wait until Monday to take the child to be checked eish mara. This boy should be locked away for life cause he will ra.pe many more

The 17year old f**^&^% should thank his lucky stars that the girl is not my relative. It would have been me in jail and him recovering without a n.zw.ir.i in hospital (if he did not DOA)

How do they know if it is the boy who r'aped her?Why do people always assume the first person to be arrested is guilty without even being tried by a court of law?Ke gore di bloggers have tried and convicted the poor boy in his absentia without even hearing his side of the story.

Honestly, it must be one hell of a choice for these mothers today - an illiterate child or a raped child (or sometimes both)
