A 20-year-old woman was seriously hurt after she fell three storeys down a building at the University of Pretoria early on Sunday morning, paramedics said.

It was unclear whether she was pushed or jumped from one of the windows at the male residences, said Netcare911 spokesman Jeffrey Wicks.

Paramedics arrived at 4.30am and found the woman lying at the floor below.

“She suffered abrasions as a result. She is lucky to have survived considering the height of the building,” said Wicks.

Circumstances surrounding the incident were not immediately clear.

Wicks said the woman was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.

What is she doing at the male residence on sunday morning, I had the same situation whereby I asked a chick to go for the window when my gal knocked on the door. It is obvious na fana ka pie and this hapened, some kids you expect them to go to and study bona they do that and more!!!

Guys, be fair.If you have stayed at the institution residence you know damn well that you can visit your boyfriend or girlfriend and their blocks at anytime of the day.At a Technikon in Durban, a female student was pushed down through those big windows by her boyfriend.She died later in Hospital. Whoever who pushed this lady if she was pushed, must be found and made to pay. This is not a toy that fell three blocks down.
