“During the state of the province address, I promised the people that they will get water, therefore no one will stand in my way; those who cannot deliver must be released from duty,” Mabuza said in a statement.

You cant promise people water and expect the mayors to make your promises to come true. You should first highlight the reasons why folks dont have water.Sometimes its not the municipalities' fault that folks dont have water,RSA is a water scarce country after all. Report Abuse

Right attitude, but a bit short on details. What exactly is causing this poor service delivery, and how to rectify ? Do something concrete and radical to get things on track. Appoint civil engineers who know how to fix the problems fast, no matter who they are. We are in an emergency situation re service delivery, not the time for cadre deployment or affirmative action. People are going to start dying. Give us something concrete and radical Mr Mabuza. Report Abuse
Oh please. This is mere sabre rattling. Getting fired for incompetence or corruption in the ANC earns you a more lucrative position somewhere else in government. Ah, the average IQ of the SA electorate- cry the beloved country! Report Abuse

So people must accept to go on without water because according to you RSA is a water scarce country. Mabuza must start with the officials in Bushbuckridge Local Municipality...We have a big dam that President Mandela commissioned long time ago filled to capcity with water. When they feel like it they give us water from that dam and the next minute they stop the supply. Why, because they take all of us for granted. Mabuza says they abondoned a water project in Nsikazi North. Why because they think they can get away with shoddy jobs and projects. The sooner Mabuza cracks the whip the better........ Report Abuse
